What round did the Bears get him in, anyway?

It's not just the return guy. It's the whole blocking unit.

Just like the RB and the whole O-line.

atomic's right. speed only gets you so far if you dont have the blocking you might get one MAYBE two returns for TDs buyt certainly not 6

he's good, but its take a whole SP unit to be that good. He was a 2nd rounder. I love that he promptly made up for letting holt beat him for a TD.

Is it just me, or does anyone else recall the rumor that Shanahan was going to take him with the Broncos' 2nd second-round pick (the one they spent on Tony Scheffler), but the Bears beat them to the punch.

Imagine the difference Hester would have made on our field position this year....

The Broncos were also reportedly pretty high on Maurice-Jones Drew... sigh... could've been so beautiful....

I"m more disgusted with the kick/punt return teams. They've stunk for several years now. I honestly can't remember the last time we had even decent coverage teams. Why is it so difficult to fix this problem?
