ESPN says Denver is in danger of being "blown out".
Everything you hear on CBS and NFL Network is that we just simply cannot matchup with the Chargers.
People forget that San Diego has been barely escaping against bad teams. They forget that we were up 17 on them at one point and should have won that last game. And now all of a sudden Seattle is back to elite status because they beat us, but we are now a bad team because we lost? This crap just doesn't add up. You have to be consistant somewhere. If Seattle is now elite again, after we pretty much gave that game away to them, then how are we not elite? If they weren't a great team before that game, then how does beating a "bad team" make them elite again? As long as our team hasn't given up after a few fluke games, we are going to surprise a lot of people today. KC will not win out, they might not even win today. I just don't see how we are in a nose dive. If Shanahan is the coach he thinks he is, we'll come out strong today.
One other thing... How is it that when Jay Cutler throws a 7 yard hook route and his receiver does the rest for a 70 yard score, it's just plain luck, but when Rivers throws the ball to LT on a 5 yard route while being covered by a DE and he takes it 40 it is pure poise and determination in the face of adversity? I'm so sick of hearing people say, "Well, you can't count that 70 yard touchdown because that was just a fluke." Alright, well then take away half of Jake Delhoeme's TD passes to Steve Smith then.
