What do you mean "for real?" It's a community construction. It's not like you get Mother's day cards from the players or anything out of it. You just boast your guy up, or take some heat for them when they're not doing so hot.

I have no way of "locking" the field so that once it's set for the year, it's set. I *wish* I had that option, but unfortunately, I don't. The whole idea is for people to have fun with it and be cool about it... not for anyone to get uptight about it and create stress around it.

Well yeah... We had some fun with it, and people have their guy. This is the first issue anyone has had with it, and it's over a guy who is parodying it by putting a player's butt in the spot. Big deal. That hasn't stopped me from extolling all the virtues of George Foster this year, and the fabulous season he's having. We'll have another draft next year and repeat the process all over again.

The whole thing is about Broncos fans having some fun by covering a player. I've seen a lot of folks enjoying it by rooting for their player extra, or hoping that their adoptee gets put in the line-up. Who cares what Bob puts in the slot? Why are you going to let him ruin the experience for you? And what's the psycology behind why it bothers you so much. There's a button I'd like to know more about... ;)

Nevertheless, go check the rankings per Alexa. There is a "compare sites" option. During peak football periods, we drive a lot more traffic than the Planet. Also, the summer numbers there are way off, due to a two week period where our server was down, and an eventual server switch.

Our traffic numbers will probably go down for this month due to the board being closed to registered members only. That's fine with me. I'm not really competing with Chiefs Planet over this. I was just pointing out that you're wrong.

Yeah, the posters on that board are generally pretty cordial. I had a Nowitzki avatar up, so I guess I was a stealth Bronco, but I had some good convo with alot of guys about several different subjects. Not a bad place until you enter the world of lawn appliances and pit bulls. Truely though, its not a bad place.
