This isn't for duck, but you have to try this... I swear to God, it sounds pretty bad, but you'll love it. It's the easiest recipe in the world.
Take 2 cups of ketchup and one can of coke (diet coke will work). Add some Lowrys seasoning, some onion flakes, and some garlic salt. I like to add white pepper, but I add white pepper to everything. Mix them together in a bowl and pour them into a large sauce pan and set it for boil. Once the mixture starts to boil, drop it down to a 3 or 4 on your stove and drop 4-6 chicken breasts in there and cover it. Let it simmer for a half hour or until the mixture starts to thicken up... It has to get thick or it just wont do.
When it's done, drop the chicken breast on a bed of rice and pour some sauce over the entire thing. That chicken practically melts in your mouth.

Shanny made a statment in his press conference that went something like this.... "Jay Cutler gives us the best chance to win now".
By making that statement, he sent a clear message of his intention. He didn't say he wanted to break the kid in for next season. He was saying that he thought Cutler would win the games this season that Plummer could not. Obviously, Jay Cutler does not give Denver thier best chance to "win now".
He either should have put him in earlier in the season, or saved him for next year. But putting him in now gave you the least chance to win. As head coach, Shanny should have known that.
come on horse.
he DOES know that, but he cant ADMIT that.
by actually admitting that (as well as admitting that the offense has to be "dumbed" down not for plummer but for cutler) he'd ALSO be admitting to throwing in the towel.
it still kinda stings, and its still kinda hard to believe he did it, but the fan and media pressure was ENORMOUS, and like ive said many times the last couple days, our chances of winning it all with plummer were RIDICULOUSLY slim.
the colts and bolts exposed our defense once again as one that will collapse against pass efficient offense's, and our issues on offense, though not qb related like shanny and the press would have you think, run VERY deep.
at the end of the day, cutler does NOT give us the best chance to win NOW, but we HAVE committed the FUTURE to the kid, so these reps he's getting now are invaluable.
making the move was also an admission by shanahan that there would be no "competition" for the qb job NEXT season, and with that in mind also, again, these reps are invaluable.
hopefully next year at this time we as bronco fans are thankful for cutler getting the PT now and taking his lumps now, so he can hopefully be a much better player next season and hopefully for many seasons after that.
without fixing the real issues on this team, it wont matter who plays qb, but if we're committing the future to jay cutler, then throwing him in this pressure cooker could prove to be a solid move for the future.

People are too germ-a-phobic. You need germs to help build your
immune system. It's like your muscle and lifting weights, if you
don't build your muscles, when you need them, you don't have
them. Likewise if your immune system doesn't get a good workout,
then when some strange bug comes along, it can't deal with it.

Mr. John's Meat-Stuffed Bell Peppers
Recipe courtesy Emeril Lagasse, 2003
Show: Emeril Live
Episode: Stuff It
6 green bell peppers, tops cut away and seeds removed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup finely chopped yellow onions
1/2 cup finely chopped green bell peppers
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pinch red pepper flakes
2 cups cooked long or medium-grain white rice
8 ounces tomato sauce
Water
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot of boiling water, parboil the peppers until just tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and dry on paper towels.
In a large saute pan or skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and chopped bell peppers and cook, stirring, until soft, about 3 minutes. Add the beef, pork, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and pepper flakes. Cook until the meat is browned, stirring with a heavy wooden spoon to break up the lumps, about 6 minutes. Add the rice and tomato sauce and stir well. Remove from the heat and adjust the seasoning, to taste.
Pour enough water into a baking dish to just cover the bottom, about 1/8-inch deep. Stuff the bell peppers with the rice mixture and place in the baking dish. Bake until the peppers are very tender and the filling is heated through, 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Ok you can now stop holding your breath in anticipation.
I had the old fall back. A cheeseburger with pepperjack. It was perfectly cooked to order. I was really exicted to find it was not a processed/frozen beef patty but an actual made to order kind. The pickles I believe were the sweet kind which I dont really prefer but they did in a pinch. The Onion was not to strong and gave quite the crunch. Nothing like limp onion on your burger. Im a mayo & mustard guy and had to wait a moment for the mayo since the waiter only brought mustard with him. I did opt out of the fries today and went with chips which is unusal but change is good sometimes.
On second thought I dont think I'll substitue the chips anymore just not the same and kind of left me feeling rather un-American.
A simple coke to drink was cool and refreshing but sometime I really should try the tea. I wonder if they use sugar in it?

Basically chicken and dumplings soup.
Matzah is just flour and water that is made
into a sort of bread, but not allowed to rise
so it forms sort of a cracker.
Matzah balls are made from ground up matzah,
eggs, chicken fat,and seasoning and then rolled into
balls and dropped into chicken soup.

Everyone says I'm always fishing. Fishing for what? A response?
It doesn't even make sense.
The reason you say I'm fishing is because it gives you some sort of stock answer to a post, that allows you to avoid the topic. The problem with that, is my posts have been reasonable, and so have my responses to anyone that has a reasonable answer.
If you don't have the capacity to address the post, or if you agree and dont want to say so, then just pass it by. But to say, I am fishing.....well that's just a poorly thought out response.

Easy 30 minute is get one of those pork tenderloins that come packaged from the company (has different flavors like Lemmon-pepper, Cracked peppercorns, southern barbeque..I perfer the Souther Barbeque). Coat that sucker real good with cavenders greek seasoning toss it on the grill for 30 minutes. Generaly rotate the tenderloin about every 5-8 minutes.
Yes I use a gas grill for this that is why it is an easy cook item. Before I get the Loin ready I turn up all three elements to hi and let the grill get hot When I am ready to throw my loin on I turn down the element under it to med-low that helps to not burn it. I like the good old fashion char. grill but my gas grill gets used probably 3 times a week.

I love using those tenderloins. Only I get the ones without the seasonings already injected. Then I make my own redwine marinade and soak that sucker overnight.
I then fry the outside in a super hot pan to trap the juices in and back on 350 until done.

putting him in now gave you the least chance to win. As head coach, Shanny should have known that.
If you had said that BEFORE the game, maybe I wouldda listened. But a Chefs fan - after a last-second loss to the defending NFC Champs - saying, "See? I told you so!" doesn't mean squat to me.
Cutler will improve every single week he plays. Jumping on him after his first start is low-class, Craye.

But I didn't say, "I told you so". I said Shanny was wrong.
For the record however, I have said all season that Shanny should have put the kid in earlier. You might have known it, but my threads get moved all the time. Some Bronco fans can dish it....but you know.
A person shouldn't have to say I told you so. It should be common knowledge that you don't wait until you're in the playoff hunt to put the rook in. You either commit to him at the beginning if the season. Or you put him in when you realize the QB you have isn't going to help you. I could have told you that Plummer wasn't getting the job done long before week 13. However, now you don't have any cushion to teach the rook. Now that the Donks have lost all the games they can afford to, and still make the playoffs, Shanny puts in Cutler. You dont need I told you so. It should be pretty common opinion.
I'm not jumping on Cutler after his 1st start. I'm jumping on Planny for mismanaging the sitiuation. IMO he has made a potential playoff team a lame duck for the rest of the season. If anything, I am saying with enough opportunity perhaps Cutler could have done something with this season. But the way it stands he has been handed a team where he has no room for error. And a short time to prepare for next season.
You know, the possibility is still there to make the playoffs. But Planny has made the % of success as limited on the kid as possible. I just thought it was a stupid mistake by Planny. He should know better.

Given his electrifying perfomance against Seattle, there is no doubt that he would have marched the team up and down the field efficiently for at least 55 points.
Well do you think he could have been as bad as the 10 points that we scored? I don't. KC had 13 going into the 4th. Tough to manage that amount. Seattle has a tougher D and he still managed to put up 20 and also tie the game under 5 minutes. Our team reflected Plummer's confidence and we played flat.
Plummer could have won that game with a couple of good throws... throws he can't make but Cutler could have. Plain and simple, that is the truth.

??? What do you expect Shanahan should say to the media?
Maybe this would be better:
"I'm pretty sure the season over, so now's the time to start to developing Jay for next season."
"BTW, Jay doesn't really give us the best chance to win right now and I know Jake does but he's gone next year and I need to get Jay some playing time and experience."
Shanahan should have worked for the CIA, he's not going to reveal anything in the media about his true intentions, only what he has too. This thread seems be another anti-Jay bring back Jake thread. In one week so many forget that Plummer, 10 year vet played far worst than most Rookies in this league the last 11 weeks. He gives us a better chance to win? If you really believe that you'd better check that spot between both ears.
Give the kid a chance for Christ Sakes, he's only played one game.
