Guidelines for the OM Galaxy

As we enter the final clutch stretch of the season, I think it's time we set some rules, or guidelines, rather, for the OrangeMane.

1) Hereby, Cutler's name will be spelt Cutler and not Culter, Cutter, Culler, or any variation thereof. If you didn't spell Plummer wrong, treat our new starting quarterback's name with the same respect. Seriously, it's the least you could do.
1a. Henceforth, proceed with caution when searching for images of Jay Cutler. Really, what you will find is quite astounding.
1b. Rule 1a applies to videos as well.
1c. Not "rocket man," or "blade," or the "rising son," the "prodigy." Don't overuse "A Cut Above."

2) Domonique Foxworth's last name is Foxworth, not Foxworthy. Foxworthy of the Jeff variation is a comedian on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Foxworth, on the other hand, is a nickelback for our Denver Broncos.
1a. Don't even try Foxy.

3) Within the next two weeks, rather than starting threads regarding the condition of our quarterback (taking the extremes) or our coaching staff, please suggest possible remedies for our offensive/defensive struggles and address areas of improvement. You know very well you aren't doing us any good by starting these threads-- rather, you're taking up bandwith, costing TJ the fee of another upgrade, and pushing threads of higher value to the second page when they are needed the most (prayers, urgent requests, concerns).
3a. Commandment three can be disregarded if the Broncos lose the next two games. Because that, would be just plain wrong.

4) If anyone you know suggests that the Broncos are not going to make the playoffs this year, smile at them, give them a hug, and slowly back away. Because really, these sorts of people need a constant dosage of hugs, and perhaps they forgot to pack one.

5) Should've does not expand to should of. It expands to should have.

6) You're is a contraction for you are. Therefore, typing the phrase "your an idiot" makes you an idiot.

5) Please don't take this too seriously. Solely humorous intentions.

By the way, I'm sure I posted this sometime last year, but here's an updated version of how to pronounce some of your favorite Broncos' first and last names.

I am curious but not brave enough to do a search of my own. What horrible things does the internet bring back?

I have some to add.

1. Cutler's name is Cutler, not "blade" or "rocket man."

2. Do not call Dominique Foxworth "Foxy".

3. type "of" when you mean to to type "have" (Should have not should of. Would have not would of)

4. "Your" is possessive. "You're" is the contraction of you are. Therefore when you tell someone "your an idiot" it should be "you're an idiot".

May this make the board a better place. :D

Do we have to add the following phrases?

Slicing through the defense.

Hacking through the defense.

Chopping up the defense.

Surgical precision.

Taking a stab at the record book.

The cutting edge.

Wounding opponents.

Slashing down the field.

Nick and diming.

Scoring the field.

Okay. Just wondering.....

While we are at it, loose vs. lose. Two completely different words with completely different meanings that are spelled similar. Please get it right. Don't say something like "if Darrent could cover we wouldn't loose that game" or something to that affect. It is proper to say "we will lose this game if we don't get a pass rush."

Well Nag fans, Its been fun slapping you guys around some more. Ill be back when you have to go up against the Chiefs or Cowboys again... Good luck with your new QB, he should be just fine when you guys get a running game and some receivers that can catch. If you guys make the playoffs...even as a wildcard, I will change my logo to something Denver Broncos related...of your choice. Seems like a bet that could go either way at this point...Im putting that out there before CuTTer takes his first snap, in the interest of fairness...

You guys are pretty good sports. Even though I have total disdain for your team, this is a very entertaining message board...But one thing suprised me; out of all the things that we have discussed and you guys knowing I like both the Chiefs and Cowboys, you never asked which team I would pull for when they played each other. Seems like an obvious question...

Add "suprised" and dont congradulations to the grammar police . Congradulations should only be used when you are too lazy to say "congratulations on your graduation!"
I dont give a rats A$$ that you have two teams to cheer on Sunday. It wouldnt suprise me since you need at least one team that has been to the SuperBowl in 32 years. What team do you pull for when they both play each other? We dont care and but I will play along and guess that you explode from the confusion?

Rule #128: You didn't come up with that nickname (for Cutler, the Defense, the Offense, etc.), and probably don't have the authority to make it stick even if you did.

My nickname for Cutler is Ginzu, by the way.

/no it's not.
