Hey if I could have been born earlier to watch Elway his entire career I would have been. Hopefully the Cutler era turns out the same if not better.

I voted for 3 of them.
The 1979 game is the most amazing regular season video I have. From 34-10 down to the lead takes about 25 minutes of viewing. Morton was great but there are just sooooo many good storylines that all play out on video. Plus it was Orange Sunday and the crowd just goes bananas.
The 1984 game was so great as it was unprecendented for us to win a title on the road on the final weekend of play. We had lost Division title spots on the road on the final weekend in 1973, 1979, and 1981, so to clinch in Seattle was huge. Elway was awful for most of the game but did have a few big plays. The Defense and Running game got it done. Steve Watson made a HUGE catch and run on Denver's first possession, taking an underthrown Elway pass for 70 yards, all the way to the Seattle one yard line. Great moment when the whistle sounds and the players carry Reeves off after the game.
The 1987 game was vintage John Elway. No Quarterback could change a game with a tackle could he?? Trailing 14-7, Willhite fumbles and Fredd Young is off to the races. Elway makes a dominant tackle to prevent a TD and Seattle is held to a FG to take a 17-7 lead. The crowd goes nuts. Then Elway has an amazing day with 4 TD's. Steve Sewell makes a great catch and run for Denver's first TD on an underthrown ball, and then combines with Elway on a great flea flicker TD to Vance Johnson that is one of the coolest plays in Broncos history.

I voted for 1999, that was a great game.
Chris Watson opened up the floodgates with an 81 yard punt return for a touchdown the first time we touched the ball and Olandis Gary absolutely dominated the Seahawks. Somehow though we let them back into it and in OT Ray Crockett comes in on the Corner blitz and jars the ball loose from Kitna (?) as Cadrez picks it up and returns it for a touchdown.

I vote for the 1979 game. This past week I was going through some old videos and looked at highlights of that game and other Morton games. I was impressed with how accurate a passer Morton was (especially after watching Plummer in recent weeks). That 1979 Seattle game was one of Morton's best.
Second and third on my list would be the other two oldies: 1983 and 1984. As I remember Kubiak was 3rd string for the 1983 game and was forced to start when both Elway and DeBerg were out. Kubiak was a little known backup - his performance that day was a big surprise. The equivalent today would be if Cutler was injured, Plummer had the flu, and Preston Parsons started and let the team to a win over the Chargers. 1984 was one of the biggest road wins in franchise history.

My favorite was from the early 90's in the Kingdome when Elway ducked two defensive lineman and threw a 60+ yard bomb to Shannon for a TD. One of the most amazing plays by a QB I've ever seen.

the 1987 home game....33 unanswered points as John Elway lets Bosworth know he's "#1."

I voted for 79 , I saw that game , Norris Weisse was qb then , and Denver couldnt do anything right , Morton slips off into the Locker Room puts his suit and cape on , came out in the Second half and just lit the entire team up , Defense , Special teams , offense ........

That is my favorite game I think. To put this game in perspective Denver won the AFC West in '86, Seattle was favored by many to go to the Superbowl in '87. This was the first week of the '87 season so bothe teams were just amped! The Broncs fell behind earlier, came roaring back, Elway made a TD saving tackle on a fumble and Watson had one of the best TD catches I have ever seen. Before the game Boz said he wouldn't pull off Elway even if it cost his team 15 yards. about 4 plays into the game Billy Bryan cheap shotted the Bozzo right in the open field where everyone could see. The Bozzo went flying in the old dirt infield and the crowd cheered.... Funny though... the refs didn't see a thing!! Hilarious!
