sorry to be a dick here...dont buy one in the first place.
sell it to the first sucker that comes along.
Used to sell them for a living years ago..... Until the compamy got busted for over selling its properties :)

I knew someone who made money buying and selling timeshares. I don't know how they were doing it but all I knew was that it was legal, they made $5,000a month doing it and they wanted me to come in and I said no. This is probably why I'm always broke. I just don't think everything is about money.
I am assuming you've done a Google search and talked to several realtors.
I have a time share I paid cash for and never had any luck selling it for even close to the very small amount I paid for it.
Time shares are a ripoff.

Not the best investment choice. If you plan to use it, you would probably be better off investing your original purchase price and renting a unit in the area where you own the time share. Timeshares are difficult to sell, so you run into serious liquididity problems with them and often have to sell below market value just to unload them. I would advise against purchasing them in the first place, but If you have to sell one, take what you can get for it and move on.
