Apparently, according to the Giants message board, Tiki Barber ripped the coaching staff for the play calling and blamed the loss on them. THEN, Tom Coughlin ripped Tiki for ripping the coaching staff. THEN, Jeremey Shockey and Plaxico Burress ripped Tiki for ripping the coaching staff.
Oh to be a fly in that locker room.
Good times all around.

The real reason behind Tiki's retirement.........the Coach.
He never did like Coughlin

He's sure damaging his reputation on the way out the door.
Well, I'm sure he won't be shy about criticizing coaches as an analyst. He's already getting a lot of practice.

I think Coughlin is an ass and I'm amazed anyone ever hires him, but Tiki is being a bad teammate right now.

Rank Eli, Rivers, Roethlisberger, JP Losman for the career passer rating.
*****Eli is last.
Sure hope he was worth all those draft picks.

The whole Jacobs thing is kind of stupid. They brought Barber out today after he set them up 1st & Goal at the 1. You're telling me Tiki couldn't pick up 3 friggin feet with a fresh set of downs?

I'm not defending Huffnagle in any way, but I think we did take a few shots downfield; they were just all intercepted.

Not even the refs can patch that mess up. I think it's karma for the league trying to make the team look better than it was. They had some good players but the whole Eli draft day thing really pissed me off and then the lack of holding calls in the game in the meadowlands last year permanently put them on my hate list. It makes me smile seeing Rivers play well and then watch Eli suck it up.

Reputation? Who needs reputation when you play in NY and (based on that fact) are already a first ballot HOF'er?

Let me tell you something........when it's 21-0 and you have 2nd and 4, you DO NOT go into 5 wide, especially with a QB who CANNOT throw!!!
LOL Well I guess Bronco fans aren't the only group of people who've had to suffer through this.

This won't damage his reputation, if this story is true (about going off this week again). Tiki is one of the most respected on and off the field.

Pretty standard stuff for a Couglin coached team. Guys always end up turning on him. Dude should be coaching college or high school teams.

He's a whining crybaby, STFU and play!
How about this, We dress our receivers in the opponents uniforms in order for Eli to complete more passes. What do you think?
Like I said, a change of location might be for the best. The kids still got talent but he'll never be able to shine in the New York market.
You got to be nuts to think there is a single coach out there who will trade for Eli!! Come on!

The Giants are the perfect example of why the head coach has to be the Alpha male in the lockerroom. Players might hint at the play calling here (Javon Walker) but nobody is going to come out and blast Shanahan.
If a coach lets a player blast him once in the media and there are no repercussions, the flood gates open and its open season on the coach. He won't last. Nobody respects him.

We have one more win the Giants and we are the picture of tranquility (even with a looming qb change). With the way the Giants are acting, you would think they were 3-8.
It all starts at the top. Players take on the personality of their coach so Coughlin must be one finger pointing mofo.

That is absurd. Poitn fingers at Burress and Kiwanuka. leading 21-0, Manning wnet deep to Burress, who stopped running. Pacman Jones kept running, picked off the ball, and completely swung the momentum.
Down by 7 and driving, Vince Young faces a 4th and 10 with under 2 minutes left. He drops back, sees nothing, Kiwanuka wraps his arms around VY... and then Kiwanuka backs off and just stands there while VY runs for the 1st down. Utterly ridiculous.

Anyone else like to visit the losing teams message boards after a debacle? If not, you should. Comedy all around.
Take the Giants message board for instance, right after Tennessee kicked the FG to win the game, they had the following threads:
"F U Giants"
"Bench Eli, Start Jared Lorezen"
"Coughlin has to go"
"I blame the defense"
"I blame the offense"
"Our offensive line sucks"
"I feel like crying"
Oh, hahahahahahahaahaha.

The finger pointing started last year, so one could have seen this coming. I don't think many of the players are enjoying Camp Coughlin.
