Larry C(h)oker will more than likely be tossed tomorrow despite beating BC and becoming bowl elgible. Congrats

I just hope Donna (University President) doesn't let her personal relationships/emotions get involved in the process of choosing the head coach. She is trying to force her long time buddy, Barry Alvarez, the current AD and former head coach at Wisconsin, into the discussion as Coker's replacement as a hybrid AD and Head Coach. I want no part of that.
Schiano is my first choice.

Schino would be good, Shannon, Petino as well. what bout rumors of "The old ball coach"?

THE U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank god this season hasn't been a total failure.
SoCal, why the hell does Kyle Wright still make sh1tty decisions? Whta's the problem with him? I know he's hurt, but he was supposed to be the next Testaverde or Torretta pr Kelly or even Dorsey, yet he kinda sucks. I actually find myself missing Brock Berlin. Is it just the youth of the O-Line and the amount of inexperienced skill players? Or is there more that I don't know about, like an inability to make reads or a failure to recognize the D presnap? I notice that he often holds on to the ball for too long, resulting in sacks even when he is in position to throw it away w/o a penalty. Any idea why this is the case?
Thanks, man, I'm just wondering how this season fell apart so badly.

Congrats SoCal. Hope you get a decent replacement. BTW - my Wisconsin sources say there is no way Alverez goes to Miami. He put his boy in place as Wis. coach and wants to stay and help him remain successful.

congrats. i think it was pretty gay of erin andrews to ask him like 4 questions about his job right after the win. coker kept deflecting em, he obviously wanted to be with his players to celebrate and not worry about teh future. it looked like his press conference was very classy, asking all affiliated with the university to support it.
as for a replacement, it doesnt sound too good. everyone is bringing up the facilities, harsh critics, financial problems, and just all the negatives about miami plus its not a particularly great year for coach searchign...yet.
i doubt they go to a bowl game with a dejected fan base and not much interest surrounding the team. maybe like the car care bowl in NC, something close that may have some local interest. will they even get invited?

Coker is history
Wow. Coker was 59-15? I don't think he will have any problem getting another head coaching job if he still wants to keep coaching...

I thought he was very classy in his press conference. Hope you find someone that will get that program turned around, SoCal (an all 'cane fans). Good luck.

how about the USF coach. he seems to have done a good job with the program and probably knows the recruiting areas well. ive heard schiano is waiting to pounce on the penn state job.
