It's too bad your not the GM for the Chiefs, with that kind of thinking. You would keep a back whose career is going to be spent after his 400-carry season this year, over a Franchise QB like Manning or Brady that has a number of good years left? Or someone like Julius Peppers? ROFL!

Props to Larry Johnson. He really worked hard for all those yards and carried the offense.
There should be no doubts about his ability after the way he's consistently picking up 4/5 yards all season even without the same level of blocking up front as last year.
Between LT/LJ in the AFC West all the teams in our division need to field very strong front 7s so hopefully we'll use this game as a lesson and Coyer can correct some of sloppy a$$ arm tackling from our LBers.
I was hoping Tatum Bell would join those two this season and make it an AFC West trifecta but that injury prone punk has really let me down so far!

Okay, let's say we make a FG instead of a TD on that drive. 15-10 Chiefs win.
Don't act like the refs made a good call on that illegal contact BS that allowed you to get the ball back again.

It's the same offense, but you're right the philosophy is different. We control the clock alot more now than we have in previous seasons. We run the ball more. We have the best or second best RB in the NFL and we are going to use him to his abilities. I'm not throwing DV under the bus, all I'm saying is that DV did NOT care about defense. I liked DV and what he did to our offense considering what it was before he got there but he installed no toughness or defense to the recent Chiefs teams. Sometimes being aggressive as he was on offense can blow up in your face. There were many times when we would throw in the redzone when we had 1-2 yds to score. Alot of times it would result in a turnover. I absolutely can't stand when any team does that. Last night If I were a DEN fan I would have **** myself when I saw that DEN threw on that goaline play. Granted it worked, but if Gun wasn't such a dumbass we wouldnt have our worst cover LB guarding a TE like that. If that was a DB that would have been an INT because it was a ****bomb of a pass by Plummer.

Gonzo is having a far better season than last season, and is having one of his better "complete" seasons in some time. He's becoming into a great run blocker as well as he is making great catches in critical situations like he always does. In no way have we forgot about Gonzo. He shouldnt even have played last night but did because he wanted to. We had a gameplan that hardly involved him in it because of his injury. He was probably more of a decoy than anything. This game would have been alot more lopsided had he been healthy.
For the last time:
Is it the same offense....Yes, Trent will even tell you that
Is it a different philosophy? Yes, we rely on the run more to contorl the clock and the tempo of the game. We play field position football to put our defense in better positions to make plays. Notice how our defense is much much better this season than last, alot of that improvement has to do with this. We don't throw it inside the 5 yd line anymore like we did with DV and AS. We have the best powerback in the NFL and we UUUUUUUUUUSE him.
