1 post rule, you're an idiot. The Broncos and KC split games and you are giving them the division. KC is not better the SD, or Denver on a neutral field.

KC just won and they lost to us on the road by a FG in overtime with their backup QB making his first start in 5 years. What more do you want? They're the better team.

After this week San Diego will be 2 games up with 5 left.

Lets see the remaining games here...
San Diego has Oakland, @Buffalo, Denver, KC, @Seattle, Arizona.

KC has @Cleveland, Baltimore, @SD, @Oakland, Jax.

San Diego will win the division by 2 games.

Who cares. Even good teams have a bad game once in a while. That is the first time we have been blown out in several years. Back during one of New England's super bowl runs they lost to Buffalo with a score in the area of 33-0. Back in 2004 the Chiefs sucked but we still blew out the Atlanta Falcons 56-10, a team that went on to the NFC Championship game that year.

I'm just saying trying to rationalize the cheifs winning the division is laughable. I hope Herm continues to run LJ 50 times a week, at this pace he'll have 1 or 2 more years before he's finished.

Herm needs to smart up and give Bennett 10 or so carries a game.

LJ is still relatively fresh. He didn't start in college until his senior year and this is his first full year as a starter in the NFL. LT (who is the same age as LJ) will run out of gas before LJ does because LT started all through college and since his rookie season.

I agree. Almost everytime Bennett gets the ball he goes for 10 or 15+ yards.

LT doesn't take hits like LJ. LJ's running style is straight up and down, and he takes and dishes out hits. But, running him in the ground 30 + times a game is going to catch up wiht you, espeically with his running style. LT will play several more productive years than LJ IMO. But who knows.

That's a good point. The Chargers and broncos are 4-2 on the road while KC is 2-3. Also note that the Chiefs have three road games remaining while everyone else in the division has two.

The Chiefs are a hot team now but they have a bit of a tough road ahead.

San Diego is the best team in the AFC West, then it's a tossup between the Broncos and Chiefs. Right now it's a tossup between San Diego and Indianapolis for best team in the AFC. Once Marty took the training wheels off the Chargers they've been really good. I don't think this is the Broncos year. The wheels have fallen off and I don't think they can reconstruct the wagon to be more than one and out in the playoffs if that.

Look up the stats for past couple years and you will stick your head in you arse so you don't say stupid sh!t like that. the number of PLAYOFF teams KC has beat on the road last couple years=0. As good as KC has been at home they are worse on the road. Same story every year they start making everyone think they are a contender and bam they lose a couple they shouldn't. They will drop at least 1 more probably 2. SD drops 2 at most.

Maybe if you could read you wouldn't ask a stupid question. I will tell you again KC will lose at least 1 maybe two. Chargers most likely a loss and either JAX or Balt. OAK can win and you know that after last week. Anything else you don't understand and need explaining.

We won't lose to Baltimore and Jax. We always play Oakland close, but we still always beat them. We could lose any game at any point in the season, but the only game we really should lose out of our remaining schedule is the one at SD.

Jared Allen shouldn't have his way with McNeill like he did in KC. Without the crowd noise affecting McNeil, he should be able to put up more of a fight.

The key is turnovers once again. If we didn't give those two early turnovers in Kc then we wouldn't have had to dig ourselves out of a hole. Of course, maybe that's a good thing. Being behind has forced Marty and Cam to play more aggressive. Maybe we should just trail until the second half.

Never said Denver wouldn't either, If OAKLAND or DENVER can throw at will so can the above mentioned except with a D that can slow the run game down enough. All a team needs to do is go up early on KC and get LJ out.

:oyvey: LJ had about the same amount of carries as LT did last and he did it in less games so dont give me that he is fresh BS.

Thats just ridiculous. Johnson takes more hits than LT does and thats a fact.
Add to that...LJ as of today has rushed the ball 282 times to LT's 210.

LJ is on pace to rush the ball 400 times. How long do RB's last doing that?

TJ, We should have beat you guys earlier in the season at Mile High. You guys were never in this game nor even got close to earning the victory. You got close score wise but your team looked lack luster, didn't play with passion and the end of the game looked very confused.

I see us at 11-5. We lose at SD and take the rest. With LJ we can run the ball and if you want to win on the road in the playoffs you have to be able to run the rock.

I really can't blame Bob for getting overly excited about beating Denver or being this close to the playoffs this late in the season. It's not like he's had much to cheer about over his entire life with this team. Let's face it...when you're absent from the Superbowl for 40 years it has to pretty much suck.

I was never once worried about this game while watching it. I never once said, "oh no, the Broncos might beat us." It was actually a quite stress-free enjoyable game to watch. Rather easy win, that should've been about 24-6 score-wise. But even though we only scored one TD and all those field goals, I was sure Jake wouldn't comeback on us.

As a Chiefs fan I am really not expecting KC to win, but I don't expect you to blow us out. Your rush defense has been surprisingly average this season, and your defense has a whole has sucked lately. You guys did pretty recently almost lose to Cleveland at home, and you are giving up 29.4 ppg over the last five games.

Because of your crazy offense, I expect you can simply outscore us at home, but I don't think you are going to blow us out or anything.

San Diego's defense should be getting healthy and will have Merriman back by the KC game so I expect a much better job from the defense.

The Chargers have outplayed KC at home for the past several years. I don't expect much different this year.

First, I wish all 3 teams made the playoffs from the AFC West, because there isn't a division in football that has nearly as solid a fight as we have all faced. Oakland has played poorly, but has a good D and has shown up and played well vs the division opponents- which is usual for the West.

Second, LJ is getting fed the ball A LOT. I would like to see MB get the ball a few more times, but if you factor in the number of passes LT has w/ his runs, I'm pretty sure he is pretty close to LJ in the number of touches a game. Maybe I'm off, but the guy did have over 100 receptions one year and is heavily featured in both the passing and rushing attacks. Granted, LJ does take more abuse given his style of running, but the kid still has a few years left on the tread. For anyone to take solice in the fact that they think its going to end his career faster simply means to me that they realize what a hassle he is and how gifted a back he is. Some of his cuts tonight to make Wilson and Gold miss were amazing. I'll enjoy him while he's here.

Third, good game to you guys. The score probably should have been much more lopsided, and I think thats a testament to both your defense and to Shanny's gameplan, b/c you were outplayed by quite a bit and still kept the game within reach.

Fourth, is the spot that Oakland sits at, and sadly, only one spot behind you, in third.

Happy Thanksgiving.

It has been lately because we are missing two key players and have others that are really banged up and playing hurt.

By the time we play KC again, we will have both Merriman and Castillo back and hopefully Jamal Williams will be in better shape as well as Shaun Phillips and McCree. Igor missed some time when he had his knee scoped and has been back the past couple of weeks.

Well dont bother to do any research yourself...just keep guessing.

LJ has more rushes this year than LT has rushed and receptions combined.

LT has 210 rushes and 47 receptions.

LJ has 282 rushes and 30 receptions.

Can you at least do the math?

No doubt that LT has more rushes in their NFL careers but LJ certainly takes more abuse and that will wear down a RB faster.

Both Arizona and SD capitolized on turnovers inside the Chiefs redzone as well. KC's defense is decent this year, I am sorry you dont realize that.
