Plummer sucks. Start Cutler.

I and others (Socal, Slap, Kaylore, TJ, and the smarter half) have outlined the reasons why time and again. I and others have been calling for this switch since the St. Louis game.

We warned you about the defense. We told you it was unsustainable against playoff competition.

We told you so, We told you so, We told you so.

You said.

"Your not as smart as Shanahan, shut up"

"5-1"

"It's Larry Coyer's fault" (Leads NFL in PPG allowed)

"The running game is what is killing Jake Plummer's game" (4th in NFL)

"Insert insult about my GF"

"Pre-season games are meaningless, he only went up against 3rd and 4th team scrubs" (totally false)

So glad the debate is finally over.

"VICTORY!!!"

Jake has to go he has lost it. He can't make an average pass. Then he gets his friends, Nate Jackson, to call all of us calling for Cutler losers who would like to kick a man when he is down.

Look, if this game is what convinced you that we need Cutler in, you've already gone over the edge. You're ignoring the plain evidence in front of you that this loss was a team effort. How can you blame Jake for 5 or 6 dropped balls? The INT comes off of ALEXANDER's fingers.

I'm not saying that Jake doesn't need to be benched; I'm saying that if you're using his performance in this game to back up your argument, then you HAVE NO ARGUMENT. You've clearly lost all objectivity if that is your rationale.

The interception was thrown behind alexander.

Cutler should start next week, there's no reason not to start him. But I don't think he'll make a difference. We have more holes than we think and we won't get anywhere until we fix them. (o-line, RB, TE, d-line, Safety)

I'm too tired, don't even want to think about this right now. I'm going to bed.

I don't think he's going to win us a Super Bowl, but I think he could make a difference. If he makes some plays downfield, suddenly defenses have to be more concerned about playing the pass. That opens up the run. If he hits an open reciever on third down for a conversion, that keeps a drive alive, gives the defense more time to rest, makes a difference in the field position game. He'll make mistakes though, but we as fans are just going to have to be more understanding with his mistakes than we were with Jake for obvious reasons.

The INT comes off of ALEXANDER's fingers.

Whoa wait there. Despite all the blabbering Collinsworthless was doing that pass was not "easily catchable." It was another poorly thrown plumber pass that shows his horrific accuracy. I'm not saying the catch couldn't have been made, but that would have been an amazing reaching behind one-handed grab. Even if he didn't get a mitt on it, it looked like the ball would've dropped right in for Law to intercept.

I'd sure like to know when coach Shanahan accepts some responsibility in this teams debacle. This team looks alot like the team that quit playing for Griese, effort wise. No one wants to block, no one cares about catching balls that you must distort your body to catch, defense is tired of the Offense 3 and outs, s/t dont give a dam. Rb's getting clobbered. Imo Shanny waited too long w/ Plummer.

He did wait to long, but at 5-1 he wanted to give Jake a chance to turn it around. Anyway, Shanahan just coached us to a 7-4 record with one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Props to him.

Let the Cutler era begin.

My Orange #6 should get here this weekend!!!

I just want to be clear, because I've argued for two offseasons about where I thought this team was(n't) going with Jake.

I, in no way, take any delight in being right in my analysis of Jake. I wanted to see Jake prove me wrong, and do our home state proud, along with the Bronco Nation.

I'm not here to rub the fact that I was right in anyone's face. I may have been right, but I wish that I wasn't.

good point, TJ. i was hoping that cutler could wait for atleast one, maybe two years behind plummer at the beginning of the season. i began to waiver after CLE but he played very solid against IND and PITT but i lost it after the raiders. he played pitiful and i realized it was cutler time. SD was horrible. tonight he played extremely mediocre but the whole team played like a 4-7 team. its cutler time. thanks for the memories(good), jake. good luck and get us some trade value.
