Bill Parcells made the switch and now he's looking like a genius, he turned his team over to a guy who had never started an NFL game and now look. Tony Romo is awesome and Dallas is a totally different team. He throws with velocity, he's confident, and he releases the ball fast and knows where to throw it. The Cowboys are now a bonafide Super Bowl contender in the NFC. That's what Cutler will bring to the Broncos, a battle tested kid who throws hard, accurate, quick release and shows confidence. The Broncos will be a totally different team with Cutler at QB.

The situation is a lot different in Dallas.
I'm just glad I have him in my FF league after I lost McNabb.

Hmm... we're all pretty sure he will be starting next week. Maybe even as soon as tonight. It's happening. Maybe we should stop making "Start Cutler" threads as it will be happening sooner rather than later.
Just my opinion. :)

I don't care how many comparisons people make to how stressful college football...its not like he played for a team that was in a high stress situation every week...he went to a basketball school.

Just like a 10-year vet making rookie mistakes is trivial to you. There's no way a rook could even come close to achieving the **** numbers Jake's been putting up this year.

Romo has been unbelievable, as has Rivers. I really, really wish we could sit Cutler and have him learn the whole year, but it doesn't look like that can happen. Shame.

Dallas was slow and had lost confidence in Bledsoe, now with Romo, they're a Super Bowl contender. Denver is slow and has lost confidence in Plummer, put Cutler in who shows the same attributes as Romo and the Broncos become a legit Super Bowl contender, that will be able to win anywhere (Indy).

It's a stone cold fact that Jay played for an inferior team in a superior conference and still nabbed the MVP. The lighter told me so right on his death bed.

But can Cutler get a date with Jessica Simpson?

Man, god help this kid if he starts off slow.
People already have him curing cancer and ending global warming.

The situation is a lot different in Dallas.
It'd be nice if it were that easy. One thing that I thought was interesting listening to Aikmen and Buck tonight is that Dallas had a plan for Tony Romo. They have nurtured him for this moment, including giving him more snaps than a normal backup w/ the first string out through out the season. He's 4 years into the league as well. Way different.
I know Romo was raw out of college and that was part of what took 4 years. I can't speak to how Cutler would compare on that level.

Amen. They only want to look at the situations that work, eg Romo and Big Ben. But what about the countless others that fail? There isn't enough room on this page to list them.

So we should let Jay Culter sit on the bench for four seasons and then
bring Culter in the middle of the season? Because that is what
Tony Romo did.

Yeah, let's let Cutler wait four years, the face of this organization belongs to Jake. Go Jake.

That's one of the biggest keys right there. Being able to practice with the first stringers is crucial, because you get more practice time and more real game simulation. Just sitting on the bench alone is not enough since while you may be absorbing the playbook, you still need to be tested physically. I mean being able to physically be a part of play should help out a lot instead of just watching from the sidelines.
