By that I mean do we have to see the cowboys and Lions every year? I am all for tradition, but could use a little variety on turkey day.

Cgirls and the Tabby cats should continue to be a lock, just rotate the 3rd game.

I hate the short week as well. Especially going in to Arrowhead. Gotta bad feeling about tonight's game.

There's a lot of people whining about these games. Look, I hate watching the Cowboys at any time and the Lions...pfft, but it is a tradition and traditions should be protected..especially in a league that is growing increasingly hostile to them.

Keep them as is...let them have their national airtime moment. In the case of the Lions, it's the only one they have.

The Lions and Dallas were the only teams to step up and play these games on TG when no other team would.

Exactly. And, for that matter, the Cowboys have had a tremendous record in the week after Thanksgiving so nobody there is crying over playing. It did eventually kick the Texas/Texas A&M game off of Thursdays. Too many Texans cared about that game and the Cowboys so much that you needed to eat during the sucky Lions game if you were going to eat at all.LOL

I say leave the Cowboys and Lions on Turkey Day but just make sure the games are competitive. The Lions Dolphins game so far has been decent but I'm wondering about the Cowboys Bucs game. Last year's Broncos Cowboys game was about as good a game as I've seen so just make the games competitive and I don't care who they play.
