Perfect scenario: Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, fresh baked roll, make that 2 rolls, jell-o, gravey...seconds. Watch some crummy Cowboys/detroit game, fall asleep, left-over sandwich, couple beers. Got Bar, watch the Broncos, Plummer continues his awful play, Cutler comes in the 2nd half. Leads Denver to Win.. Pass out from eating all the Turkey happy to know the Kid is playing, and we've swept the mullets...

The wife and I will be heading to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. Food, family & Broncos football!! They have NFL Network and I don't, that's one easy way to get me there, heh. Safe travels and Happy Turkey Day to everyone!

As much as Shanahan likes to have games on Thanksgiving, the anticipation wrecks my day. I am usually nervous because each game means so much. Last Thanksgiving, my cousin and his family came over and his kids kept running in front of the TV and standing there (as if they actually cared about football). I have kids myself, so I am understanding of how kids can be, but I was ready to kick some ass.

Fortunatrely, Dayne made my day, but I had to suffer a long time to feel some relief! Tomorrow is going to be worse b/c the game doesn't start until 8pm EST (long wait). I think I am going to leave my parents in enough time to get my kids to bed and watch the game in peace and quiet.

Here's to lots of food, not so much anxiety, safe travels and a solid game by Denver vs. the Chiefs!

Go Broncos!!

Hopefully we will have all our lat minute wedding details hammered down at that point so I can relax with family and watch our boys stomp the ever living sh#t out of KC.
