Marty: You had us on the ropes and let up on us. why?
Mike: After the pick 6 I wanted to establish our passing game and get Plummer going even though the running game was working for us.
Marty: Good move. I especially liked the third down fumble by Jake that cost you a chance at a touchdown. I knew the timing was just about right for him to come up with a play like that. Give him enough touches and he'll come through for you in the clutch. We'll see you in a few weeks at our place. Stay the course. Stick with Plummer.

Seriously I was wondering about this because Marty talked to Mike for a long time and seemed pretty passionate about it. Mike responded "me too" and that was all. I think he was apologizing for Olshansky.

I thought it was about Nalen/Olshansky. It was giving me flashbacks to the 1980s when Chuck Noll grabbed Jerry Glanville by the wrist at midfield and lectured him about dirty play by the Oilers. This from a coach who led one of the dirtiest cheap-shotting teams of all-time, the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s.
