.....again.

For all the flack the Broncos have caught from the people here for not paying up to keep this guy, he's managed to end both of the past two seasons on IR.

Wasn't there a recent post where someone was ripping Shanahan for letting Berry go?

He gave them one excellent season.

Ironically, Reggie Hayward went down earlier.

Lots of other pass rushers on the shelf, too. John Abraham, of course, but Atlanta's other DE Patrick Kerney is also done for the year.

Kearse in Philly. What an injury prone team they've become now.

Really sucks for Kerney, he's set to become a free agent after this season.

Maybe he should have taken a page out of his teammates' book and played it safe.

Montae Reagor is out on IR as well.

Clearly passing on them was all part of "the plan."

Hopefully, they'll resign him at a small discount.

I guarantee if Patrick Kerney (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133336) hits the FA market there will be 50 threads about him and there are 50 good reasons not to sign him, if not 50,000,000.

Nice player with a great motor, but he's a speed rusher who will be turning 30 years old next month. I know he's been extremely durable up to now, but its not like Atlanta has had a great pass defense over the last eight years, either.

I remember a bunch of us on the old RMN board wanted to draft him, but the Falcons took him first and we were happy as hell to get Al Wilson instead.

Bottom line is I don't want to drop a ton of cash on any FA defensive lineman who's older than 27.

I'm not all that interested in any of the scraps at DE that'll be available on the UFA market as of now (Freeney will be tagged). The coming draft is going to be chock full of 1st round DE's & DT's. Time for Shanahan to grab one there for the first time since Trevor Pryce. Round two at the absolute latest.

I want a RB or DL or lots of both. Any good FA RB's hitting the market.

Nothing too special. Ahman Green, Chris Brown and Ladell Betts are the best of the UFA bunch. I like Brown, but we've already got a RB on the roster who can't stay healthy for an entire season.

The draft is the way to go.

Yeah, that was such a waste given how he got injured.

I mean you never know, but the Eagles screwed the pooch in allowing him to get hurt.

Ah but if you had TWO injury prone RB's...could switch em out...
