As bummed as I am about the loss last night, a few things continue to cheer me up.
The first is that instead of the usual week long bitterness that follows a loss until our next game, we only have to wait 3 more days. This team had a tough loss at home against Indy and went on the road the next week and ended the Steelers season, look for more of the same this week against the Chiefs.
The second thing that got me smiling was the old proverb "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Yes, the Broncos blew a chance at the division lead but unlike Indy we get another shot at the Chargers, and I truly beileve that the amount of pride on this team will not allow for another outcome similar to lastnights.
