REfs Sucked!!!!!!

In my opinion you can hang this game as one of the most poorly reffed games this year. It reminds me alot of the Giants game of last year with repeatedly missed holding calls. Our defensive line were litterally being tackled. I also noticed that clipping and holding calls on kick-offs were totally missed and the way that game ended reminded me of just what a bizarre game it was. I do think that Jake looked horrible at times and we went away from our running game at points but home team advantage should mean at least a fair called game which this was'nt. Time to get some Chefs butt on Thanksgiving.

Congratulations on the dumbest post of the night so far. You're right, though. The refs cost us at least 28 points tonight. Plummer was going to go for 350+ and 4 TDs if it wasn't for the lousy refs. Our defense would have pitched a shut-out if it wasn't for the men in stripes. We'd be 10-0, man!

Um, no. This is a football forum for big boys. You post stupid crap you'll get called on it. Outside of a few ticky tack calls early in the game the refs let the two teams play. Jake was horrible almost all game, our STs couldn't tackle a returner before the 40, and our D couldn't stop Gates in the 4th quarter without Sam Brandon. We got outplayed, deal with it.

You're right. the refs did suck last night.

They should have called Nalen for his blantant cheapshot on Olshansky after the whistle. They should have called the donk oline for holding on one of the plays they tackled eggo defenders or were hanging on them from behind...there was an obvious flinch by your TE that wasn't called for false start.

I'm not the only one that saw blatant holding calls where are linemen were looking around at the refs. I saw guys tackled from behind and then a clipping call on Walker that was crap. Why do you think that character guys like Gold and Williams were soooooooo frustrated at the end of the game because its frustrating when most of calls go against you. Hey, call it a dumb post call it what you want because I don't really give a rats ass. I saw it and I don't blame the refs for the game obviously the Broncos had chances and because of play calling and bad qb play we lost. Its funny most of you put up with idiots like Boob and Iowan but when a true fan for 25 years posts a legitimate post I get bombarded with dumb post. WHATEVER!!!!! Thanks for the two years of fun!!

Hey BR, don't go away mad. You made a point and you DIDN"T say we lost
because of the refs.. just that they didn't do a good job. SOME people need to READ yor post. However, everyone is in Meltdown mode because of the loss. You made a nice target. Next time paint a bullseye on your forehead, okay?


Anyway...The officiating wasn't that bad....mostly they let the teams play...
I don't think it was much to do with the score....we got beat by a better team, and a MUCH better quarterback.

Okay, I was probably a bit of an a-hole with my initial response. My apologies - I wasn't in the best of moods, and I have a special place in my heart when it comes to officiating posts/threads.

If thats all you can come up with watching the game last night then I am sorry. LT is a good running back. The refs didn't walk hiim into the endzone, our D washed itself into trouble last night. I don't think the officials did to bad of a game. I think they let it get out of control and tried to make up for it to late...and as an official I know that if you don't knock that crap out early you have to make up for it later. And they did that. I understand why Marty was livid after the ejection, but Marty real coach fashion ripped the player and not the ref who threw the flag. If you want to rip point the finger at the team not the officials.
