REALLY! wow...
Next year..in my madden season. no really...dont get mad. Im getting rid of plummer and starting jay. me and my lil brother are doing a season together and agreed to it. we also wanna trade for tomilson but thats far fetched.
So now we can put this QB controversy to rest, cuss just be patient my friends, in 8 madden weeks, jay cutler will begin a new era of Bronco football.
:)
just wanna lighten the mood. i finished my paper for educational pysch n my brain hurts, im buzzed and tired, i trying to ease the tension of jake vs jay.
you ever think jake and jay laugh about us losers who spend countless hours on a bulletin board deabating show should start? that'd be kinda funny actually

It's the punishment for starting a fake thread. You should have read the Terms And Conditions when you signed up. You poor bastard.

I would create Shawn Moore and start him.

Heh, you'd be glad to know that Jay threw for over 7400 yards and 85 TDs in my Madden world, then I traded him and signed Tim Hasselback the following season and threw for 7000 yards and 70 TD's... Guess I need to start playing a tougher level ;D

Didnt know it was a "Fake" thread. you really have rules of conditionment to post? I been on this for over two years and never seen such thing. Wasnt trying to "create" a fake thread...just making a joke. you guys really jumped on that **** quick didnt ya?

You should see what happens when you don't use existing threads. You know, when you start a thread about something when there is already a thread about it? Pretty gruesome. I wouldn't do it.

Hey, for what its worth, Aveion Cason was my running back that year and rushed for 2400 yards and 38 td's as well. I sure love that realistic Madden effect.

I had multiple 1,000 yard rushing games with Tatum Bell on ESPN NFL2K5.

Ha! That would put him on track to top Emmitt Smith's lifetime rushing mark in 12 less seasons

I was also working on back-to-back perfect seasons before my son scratched it up badly. I got a used copy for $5 a little bit ago but I haven't played it yet.
I had traded Lelie for Boerigter, and Anderson for Canidate (to back up Bell and to run back kicks) right off the bat. I'll tell you though, when I started my second year Rod Smith retired and it freed up so much cap room that I rebuilt the D line. Then Champ got a season ending injury during pre-season and I hadn't saved it, so I went back to the last save. It worked so well I actually hoped Smith would retire because it would have made my D purr.

Sounds to me like you guys need to find the "AI" settings page and fix your sliders
All-Pro
10 minute qtrs
Accel clock
with adjusted sliders you'll actually have fun games.

Bump it up to All-Madden and that won't happen.
You can't just get to All Pro and decide that All Madden is too tough for you. If you are putting up those kind of numbers then go to the next level. That's why they have different difficulty levels. If you already play all madden then turn up the computer AI as far as it goes.. if you are still winning by 30+ per game.. then stop running the same plays over and over and over again...
Personally, i traded Plummer after season 1 and since he had a great year he was up to a 95 overall.. He was valued at an A++ when i gave him to the Bears. Through that trade and one other i landed Sean Taylor and a couple first rounders.

I usually go All Madden, 6 minute quarters no accell, adjust sliders as needed.
I find that usually the kicking distance needs to be adjusted each year. In the past it wasn't far enough, this year the computers kick distance is insane.

I tried working Cutler in my 1st year & he went from 80 to 78, I play at All Madden level with sliders up to 75% for AI D & O. I keep trying to work him into games when I have lead but he is no better than Jake, even worse. Thinking of trading Jake for top Rookie or 2nd year QB next year & keeping Cutler as BU.
