View Full Version : Some Half Truths about Jake Plummer
Taco John

There are a lot of opinions flying around about Jake Plummer. I just want to focus on the farce.
For one...
Jake Plummer's beard has magical properties. The longer it gets, the better he is at decision making. When it's shaved, he returns to his natural state.
For every interception Jake throws, he is promised another virgin in heaven. However, God is thinking about appending this agreement due to a resource strain.
What other half truths are out there about this guy?

Man the human race is really scraping the bottom of the gene pool these days.
Feel sad for little Z, lets hope his mother has stronger genes that pops or he is in for a very tough life.

Alec this is absolutely ridiculous!!! Taco started a humorous half hearted thread and you critique his genetic makeup and his family. Unbelievable.

I still dont get why people continue to bash Jake rather than support him since he is the starter.
And Alec, that was very rude.

For every game the Broncos win one randomly selected starting player is given credit. Jake drew 22nd this year, so he will recieve his credit sometime after the superbowl.
Jake actually lost 6 games this year, putting us off to a 3-6 start. Then Champ Bailey invented time travel, went back to several of the games and single-handedly double-covered opposing recievers to make key interceptions and win us the games.

And the Plummer bashers have done the exact same thing to the people who diagree with them. Doesn't make it right, but it's certainly a two-way street.

It's not just here though, it's all of these places, it's definitely in the admin of 'Mania, and I even here it on KOA... After the Pitt game that loser in the morning show... "I wonder what the critics have to say now huh..."
I love the little fella that runs around here... "support the starter", "shut up and support the starter"
I happen to worry more about the team in general, oif one player is repeatedly stinking ity up, I have no objection (and prefer) to start someone else.
They are too hung up on Jakey-poo to see what's truly best for the team, and that is to eliminate liabilities, of which Jake is one.

What's really funny is that you're one of the people who's been insulting those who don't share your viewpoint on this subject.
Don't let that little detail get in the way of some solid hypocrisy, though. I'm sure freak6 will be here soon to play the poor victim of the dastardly Jake supporters right along side of you.

What the bashers don't realize, and often try to misrepresent, is that one can be critical of much of Jake's play to date, yet still believe he is the best option. But the bashers prefer the non-sequitur that if you have some poor performances, then you must go and be replaced by a rookie, even if the coach and the senior players (yes, that would be people that have forgotten more about football than the whole mane could ever know) think otherwise.
PS But all is good as far as the administrators care because look at the traffic it creates. If you were to eliminate every bash Jake thread (or at least cut it in half), the mane's traffic would probably slow to a snail's pace

The defenders need to stop with the whole, "If you don't support Plummer, you hate winning & you're a bad fan" and the bashers need to stop with the whole, "If If you don't agree with me, you're not objective." Both of these talking points have become very tiresome.

For every interception Jake throws, Honda upgrades his ride. He's in an element now, but aiming for an S-2000 by the end of the year.

I agree. Alec, that was pretty bad, and this is coming from someone who use to toss around a few insults himself. (Not sure if you guys have noticed I've stayed out of the politics forum because I'm trying to change my argumentative ways, besides, I'm never gonna change anyone's mind)
As for Jake...he isn't playing as well this year as he did last year. Having said that, he still is the starter and deserves our support. Like Gene Hackman said to the school gym in "Hoosiers"
"I would hope you'd support who we are, not who we are not"

There really ARE two Jakes: Jake and his evil twin brother Jake. Bad Jake, surreptitiously sedates good Jake when least expected. Good Jake reappears when the drugs wear off. Strangely enough bad Jake has a better arm, a strong middle finger but is near sighted. Good Jake has no arm, good legs and great eyesight, especially in the back of his head.
Truth is stranger than fiction.

The east coast biased NFL knew the Bronco's were too good for the other teams, so they forced Shannahan to take sub-par quarterbacks for one decade after Elway left. Inner circle speculation is still rampant as to wether Culter is another sub-par quarterback, or if Shanny plans on sitting him until the 2008 season begins.

Honda Blimp, Honda Formula One Car, Honda (Acura) NSX, Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Honda Outboard 4-stroke Boat Motor, Honda Lawnmower, Honda Weedeater.
