There is a light rail outside of the stadium that will take you into downtown. The hot spot is referred to as LoDo (Lower Downtown). The 16th Street Mall is pedestrian with free shuttle busses running up and down the length of it.

Many restaurants, bars, etc. stay open in downtown Denver. If you make the hop into downtown I'm sure you could find somewhere to entertain yourself.

nah its all good. depending on what you are into..Most of the bars and stuff are over in the LoDo area. The area over by Coors field can get kind of out of hand on Saturday nights though. If you are from SD, nothing much different than the gaslamp dist.

I was downtown before the Indy game and there were a bunch of people wearing manning jerseys and nobdoy did anything.

I was downtown before the Steeler game and a lot of people were wearing steelers crap and nobody did anything.

I'd say lodo for sure

20th and Market st. is good spot for friday and saturday nights, Cowboy lounge, Lodos.........

17th or 18th and Blake is good too.. Rio, crocs...

All of them.
..... they are all side by side and based on where you are sleeping you can stumble home and have a great time. Just start at sing sing by coor field and go up and down the blocks, dress in layers so you can tie a sweatshirt around your waste and wear a tee shirt in the club.

Probably about a hundred good ones. Walk around and take your pick. Right now it looks like highs in the 50s and no precipitaion. Cools off fast at night though. Might want to check the weather again before you leave. It can change in a hurry. Have fun.

Ummmm? What was the name of that place that Joey Porter got shot in?
That would be my recommendation and oh, yeah, wear your LT Jersey.

That place was North of Downtown. Just head past Coors field and continue to walk North, the mountains on the Left for flatlanders. Once you hear gun shots look for the first bar you see thats where porter took it in the butt.

Seriously go to 20th and Market area. Bars all over the place lots of people your age. Just watch out for those retarded amatuer drunks. You know what I mean the sloppy drunk dude who probably uses the F word 4 times in a 3 word sentence.

If you're staying at The Red Lion by the stadium...request a fan for your room and have the window open at all times. The place has central air/heating, so the room thermostat does not work. You'll go to bed with the room nice and cool and by 3 AM, you'll wake up in a broiler.

If it wasn't for that, the place would be great. Inquire about it first before your reserve your room.
