Gotta get at least a split over the next 2 games. 2-0 guarantees they win any divisional tiebreaker.

Actually, the chuggers do not seem to have much of a D at this point, or atleast, not displaying much. On O they have LT, and Rivers can throw the ball to Gates and McCardell. But on the whole, I am amazed they won some of the games they did. Today, for instance. I do not know what happened there, but it seemed to me that the Bungles had them down and then gave up a lot of stuff to LT. The point is, the chuggers gave up 41 points. I know that Plummer is no where near what Palmer is, but Walker is a handful for others to deal with. I will not predict the game, as is my custom, but I expect a game similar to the Dolts' game. I hope, however, the Broncos can pull it out.

This is what the guys play for...it doesn't get any bigger than this at all....they have to remain foucesed and get ready to play a tough opponent. If they can't get up for this game and play like the Champions they can be, then we might as well pack it in and give the rookie a go

Hell yeah, we ready! ;D

Jamal williams is a beast and will be tought to contend with. Gates, the big play, and LT are the guys we need to stop/contain

I think I agree. If we drop this game, we might as well give Cutler the job.
If Jake plays like he did last week but we lose anyway... then give him a last start against the Chiefs AND if we lose that one... well, that's it, Cutler should play then.

It's gonna be a good one! I'm freaking stoked that NBC picked our game up. Two of the top teams in the NFL going at it on primetime. I'm giddy already!

Yeah why win the West when people are saying Shanny has given up this year. We should start all the second string except for Jake b/c we need to get experience.
In reality I am excited for this week. I can't wait to see what the D does against LT. He is the best RB in the league and Denver is great at stopping the run. Man I love this time of the year. I say Broncos 27 SD 24. Champ has at least one pick!

I expect a similar game to the Pitt game, despite the records they are very similar teams. The differences will be LT is far superior to Parker, and Rivers hasn't been as...let's say free...with his passes as Big Ben.
I'd really like to have Ian Gold back for this one.

Oh Ian will be back that I am sure of. This Raiders game was treated by Denver as a break.
I just heard on NBC that Marty is 3-14 in Denver as a Coach. Man that guy is such a fraud of a coach. He is horrible at big games.

I doubt that there is a person who hates Denver more than Schotty. All those wins and not a single Superbowl berth...and for one reason, Denver and Elway.

History dictates that you are right. But damn KC has to be reeling after being shut out by Miami for a better part the game today. What happened?

Looks like Charger fan thinks their team has the best O in the league. Charger fan thinks they have the best D in the league but are giving up some points because of injuries/suspensions (this is based on a quick glance at their message board). Their greatest D in the league seems to be giving up 30 points per game the last 4.
Wonder what happened when the greatest 9-7 team of all time ran into a D that matches up well and pretty much owns them (15-5 in the last 10 seasons) last year?
24 total points for the Chargers.
LT has had 1 good game ever against our D. We always seem to have something to keep him in check. I think we will win Sunday night.

Gold and Ekuban would help, for sure.
It's the same old story for us. If we can get pressure up front, we'll win. If not, we'll get picked apart all day long. The last two games, our D-line was invisible until the 4th quarter. Thankfully, they showed up at the right time.
Lang secured this win for us today ON ONE PLAY. Imagine if we had those kinds of plays from our front four on a regular basis.

1. I really liked the play action to our tight ends last game - I really liked it!
If we use our tight ends like that against SD, we will overcome their aggressive line and open things up for about everything else.
2. As ususal, the game rests in the hands of Jake. Our defense will do well enough to keep us in the game, and Javon will do anything with the ball if he gets it. But, will Jake be able to get it to him? I loved the quote by one of the Denver post columnists I read today "there are only two quarterbacks in the NFL that can beat the Broncos, Peyton Manning annd Jake Plummer." That was on the money. However, I am praying for good Jake, he's our guy this year - win or lose. I just hope they encourage him to run it at any opportunity rather than take a sack, or force a throw.
3. Gold's health is huge here. I think his speed has been key to stopping LT lately.

The rest of the season is really......if you look at our final 7 games, you can say 2 are easy (Arizona, SF).
The other 5 are very difficult.
Sandy Eggo - twice
@ KC - Arrowhead is never easy
Seattle - will have Hasselbeck and Alexander back by the time we meet
Cincy - good offense, but lousy defense, similar to Indy
