Breaking news on various web sites. 60 Minutes' Ed Bradley died today of leukemia. I hadn't even heard he had anything. RIP.

Oh, how sad.
The last time I saw him on 60 Minutes, a week or two back, I noticed his voice sounded really gravelly and wondered if he was ill.
I always respected him as a journalist. RIP

I'll always remember his reporting from vietnam.

Here's the whole story. Man, quite an impressive career. I knew he got his start in Vietnam, but I didn't know he'd been wounded in Cambodia. One of the last of a dying breed of journalists, IMO. Now being replaced by underwear models.

One of the few media I had respect for. I noticed his voice also, but thought maybe age was catching up. Sad. May he rest in peace.

Damn - That is too bad RIP Ed. Agree with Ro - I can't even watch the national news anymore. The only reporter Hunter S Thompson ever trusted.

RIP Ed Bradley. One of the easiest to listen to men in the industry!
