Disgusting (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/15955249.htm)
Hurling obscenities at the opposition is one thing, but your own team? That's just terrible.

That's not good. It is bad enough that there are at least a few high profile schools where the opponents are regularly subjected to that sh*t, but it should not be directed at the home team.

Thats kind of funny actually. Although im not surprised by what the fans did can you blame them? This same kind of behavior goes on with fans on the professional level without any consequences. Why shouldnt they spit and throw beer on players? Happens every sunday. When they finally crack down on idiot fans and ban their asses from stadiums stupid **** like this will continue to happen.

wow, that is really sad. I'm not going to say it couldn't or wouldn't happen here in Texas or any other program, but If i saw that **** going on I would do my best to put a stop to it. I don't even think you should boo college players. If you want to be upset with the coaches thats fine they get paid to do a job and should be subject to criticism, but players have more to worry about than just football. I couldn't imagine spitting on college players, thats really sad. I don't think that its representive of all cane fans it sucks a few can ruin or taint your image.
On another note how did they get beer in the stadium? I've seen guys smuggle in a flask but beer???

And here I thought this thread would be about the tragic death of Bryan Pata. Frankly, I couldn't care less about what happened Saturday night anymore and I certainly don't care about what you think of my alma mater. Go hang out with Mike Celizik of MSNBC.com, you'll be great friends.

Whoa Brec, not bashing or trashing or anything. We were humiliated last season on national TV when an entire student section was kicked out. Basically I thought it sucked that this could happen to a home team. It only takes a few knuckle heads to make an entire fan base look bad. Trust me, I know all about it.
Check this out Brec.... (I'm Highflyer on this CU board) (http://www.allbuffs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11687) I said my peace on the Pata deal and called out some fellow buff fans for their callousness. Also, I almost went to UM, I have visted down there while I was deciding which school to go to. CU gave me the opportunity to be on the ski team, so it was a no-brainer. I'm truly sorry if I offended you, I respect your takes here.
