I can't believe he just said that he told Pelosi about some great interior decorators so she can redo her drapes?? That's kind of sexist. I don't think he made that same comment to Haskell when he was speaker.
Every time he tries to make a joke it bombs really bad.

I'm not sure. It was something about them both reading things. And Bush said Rove was ahead of him because he reads faster... or something like that...
News Flash my 5 year old reads faster then GW.

Not sure either. But it came across as a diss of Rove not having a better feel for the pulse of the nation and reading it incorrectly.

Yeah they were having a contest or something... And Bush said Rove was ahead because Bush was too busy working... hinting that Rove wasn't working. Then Bush said that Rove reads faster.

Rove's problem is he counted on the stupidity of the American public. The American public may be slow but they obviously aren't stupid.

I found it hard to miss with his clenched teeth. The one thing that is so apparent with Bush is when he's trying to be light while angry. It was mentioned by more than one source last night. And it came out when he said "Appears I was working harder on the campaign than he was" when referring to Rove.
