John Elway had achieved everything in his NFL career except winning a Super Bowl. In 1997 the Broncos finished 12-4 and sneaked through the AFC playoffs to face the Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. Denver was an underdog but hung tough against the defending champs. On a key third-down play in the third quarter, the 37-year-old Elway scrambled for eight yards, dove into two Green Bay defenders and was spun in the air like a helicopter. Running back Terrell Davis said later that he knew at that moment the Broncos would win, which they did, 31-24.

I'd say those are more a list of moments than plays. I personally don't think things like the Tuck rule or field goals count as plays. It's a good list, but I definitly think the order could use some adjusting.

Yes, even as a relatively new football fan that list didn't make sense as "plays". Elway's WAS a play tho!

I think it's the biggest SB moment of all time. They capture Johnny's eye's like saucers. He got JACKED UP, and didn't fumble. People forget we only made it by a quarter yard because he was helecoptered.

Then before the last play, Atwater managed to kill our entire secondary.

He knocked himself and two other players senseless.

John Mobley will always be in my heart for just tipping a pass.

To remember John run across the field and Romo and others just freaked me out. I still can't believe we stopped Favre after Atwater killed over half our secondary.

Thank You John Mobley.

Another great play was the "OH MY" Byner fumble that Castille managed to strip out.

Enberg is like a good luck charm.

Best Damn Sports period has the top 50 plays of all time and there are some great ones of all time. Didnt see what was top 10 but i bet Francos miracle reception was up there as Doug FLuties hail mary. So many great plays in football. I love Elway's helecopter. Best part was that i was in attendance.
