just wondering how everyone votes on retaining judges. Kind of sucks because its hard to research and people either vote straight yes or straight no on all of them. Guess its my fault cuz I shouldve looked hard at their decisions. Just don't know where to go to figure that out.

ok I understand this , the only problem I see is wage increase should match inflation , so if interest doesnt go up , niether should wages

Me too. Republican, Democrat, man, woman - don't care. Having anyone in office for more than two terms is bad for democracy IMO.

Toss 'em, across the board each and every time.

I disagree with the whole term limits thing. IMO, it's just laziness. If the electorate wants somebody out, they should vote them out. Besides which, in many areas, especially judgeships, experience should be revered. I work in the field. Inexperienced judges often run sloppy dockets and waste hours and hours trying to get a handle on huge caseloads. As far as who to retain, I just read the judicial commission recommendations and the recommendations of the League of Women Voters. I think the term limits thing in Colorado is bone-headed. The Repubs just did it to torpedo Schroeder. So, Colorado loses a representative with vast experience and power and exchanges her for somebody with zero experience and power. All that did was to hurt the state.

Problem is, more and more you hear and see of judges setting policy and such, bringing personal ideology in on the decision. Especially alot of the new judges. If you just toss them all, you risk a very liberal judges across the board. Don't agree. Decision record should and will continue to be scrutinized. I can't imagine the supreme court chock full of very hard left judges. Nothing good will come from it...dman

Exactly! If you don't agree with them vote them out. MANY excellent judges out there, quit being lazy and do your homework if you want to make a valid and honest assessment.

I don't know about nauseating. I'm pretty far left on a few issues myself.
