I knew Walkers knee was good as soon as LILLY was working out with him and started pouting about not being a starter because he knew he couldn't beat rod out and he obviously saw Walker was 5 times the player he is. I will admit though Walker is producing more than I ever expected in his first year off injury and is COMVP's with Bailey on the team.

How many TD's did Lelie have for us?

The number appears to be 12. Javon has 5. Do we get to count playoffs for Walker?

11 or 12 at most, too lazy to look up, someone here will though. He had 7 one year, 1 or 2 last, 2 years ago 2 I think and 2 maybe his rook year.

Lelie was right about one thing. he wouldn't get playing time here. Somewhere behind Marshall and Kircus I would slot him. Now he has a QB that wants to run more than pass. Nice job to his agent getting him that gig.:strong:

I thought that sig was pretty appropriate in the off-season when I made it.
It's even more so now... Good call me... Hilarious!

Yes, as long as Javon runs routes that enable him to get yards after the catch. Lelie was good at those tough sideline catches but couldn't get any yards after the catch...

Since it says how many TD's will he score, we should include his end around. He's scored 6 so he's halfway there!

Good God, Lilly's TD stats are pathetic! What I like about JW is he is an all around wideout. Deep threat, across the middle, sidelines, blocker, he is the total package! Lilly was a post runner period!

Javon has 5 recieving TDs....but 6 total if you count his rushing from this past Sunday.
Not too shabby.

Meshawn - Shut the hell up.

Moss - Shut the hell up. (Although I feel bad you got suckered into going to Oak.)
Javon - GIVE THAT MAN THE PIG!!!!!!!!

if not in a season, he should make it in a calendar year, seeing as how he didnt score in weeks 1 or 2, maybe he gets what he needs in weeks 1 and 2 next year. i see him being the go to guy for the rest of the year and shanny is going to find as many ways as possible to get him the ball

The differences are much greater than that. Lelie could make great catches when he is open. Javon can make great catches when he is not. And he is a real option across the middle on 3rd and 8.

is Lelie open here??Yes, but the punt-like floater from Jake took six minutes to come back down, giving Dawkins plenty of time to recover.
Ashley was actually in the air for 4 of those 6 minutes.
It was like watching super-slow-mo... amazing play.

I agree as long as Plummer hits this guy in stride the sky is the limit !

But, but, but....it's all Plummer's fault. He was holding Lelie back. There's no way Javon could catch more TD's because the QB is still the same!

Atlanta isn't using Lelie right.

Since Lelie will return this offseason, it's gonna be nice to see what both of them can do together. Just kidding folks...
Seriously though. it really doesn't matter. We got the better of the deal and that's all I care about. Javon has provided the offense just what we needed, a complete WR and not just a one-trick pony!

I still can't believe the people who tried to tell us that Walker was no better than Lelie, that the difference was only the superior Brett Favre versus the Worst QB in the League (to hear some tell it). Can't remember who, but one poster predicted Walker would only catch 35 passes Hilarious!

It's not just Walker, I'll bet we could have played Champ freakin' Bailey at WR this year and he would have done better than Assley.
I mean, Champ Bailey scored MORE touchdowns than Ashley Lelie last year.
And guess what, Champ Bailey has MORE red zone catches (5 ints) than Ashley does this year with the Falcons!
