I'm just messing with you. Whether you love him or hate him next season he won't be in a Bronco uniform. I'd love to see him go to the Raiders, Man the mayhem and chaos that would bring down on the Jake Lovers Fan Club on this site. Call me a sick individual but I'd love to see the hate and discontent this move would cause among the Defenders of Jake.
Still a long way to go before we crown Jake a shining success this season. I hope we don't overlook the Raiders this week. It looks like an easy win, hopefull we don't play down to their level.

I doubt it would cause much problem. People who disliked Romo before he left still disliked him after. People who liked him, continued liking him, regardless. For most here I suspect those players just become insignificant after they move on.
As far as wanting to see other Bronco fans in discontent, I seriously question your alliance to the team.
Seriously.

Well, don't worry about it. According to Raider Nation Boards, Elway is going to be offensive coordinator for the Silver and Black anyway. So maybe he can draw up plays to free up Jake without leaning on the bootleg bit so much.

You know I was lucky enough to meet Tim McKeran (Barrel Man) at the Elway HOF Induction, got a picture with him too. To me you're an insult to fans of Tim everywhere when you resort to lowbrow comments.
BTW, I can be a fan of the Broncos and a non-fan of Jake at the same time. There is isn't some unwritten rule that says I have to fall on Plummers sword when the guy plays a bad game. He played well this week and I praised him for it. He'll probably do enough to beat the Raiders next week. But any fan who believes that Jake will lead us to the promise land needs to check that spot between their ears. It isn't going to happen.
One more thing, so I made up a false thread, what's worse, you telling me I need to blow it out my ass because I call Jake out when he plays like an idiot or when I post a fake thread poking a little fun at him? If you have the right to plant a comment like that on me and still get to go on ranting and raving on this site then the "rules" definitely need rewriting. Proof, proof? Come on Man, let's be real. It's truly amazing how the world has turned for Jake in just one week. Nearly in the doghouse and out of a job 1 week ago and now back to the penthouse with everyone jumping back on his bandwagon. Cool!

Yea, good fans usually wish hatred upon other fans of their team.
But, we saw a poll where about half of these types voted to see Plummer injured so they could see a rookie, back-up take snaps. So, this doesn't surprise me.
Welcome to the modern age of the internet fan. Being right on a message board is more important than winning, to the extent that you'd wish ill will on fellow fans, simply because they stuck by a starting QB who's had ups and downs.

You are saying the Denver Broncos have no shot at the super bowl this year. Do you know how crazy that sounds? We got a 6-2 record having played some of the best the NFL has to offer, and were within a single score for both of our losses. Are you sure you're a fan?

I freely admit to being a blowhard, arrogant maybe, when I think I'm right, narrowminded sometimes yes. I'm no different than any other fan of the Broncos who wants to see them win. I do have an ego, it doesn't always have to be stroked, but sometimes I'll fight back when I think sometime is wrong or is just plain stupid. This endless Plummer debate for example to me can be unbelievably stupid. You don't have to agree with me about what I say that's okay, but these Jake Lovers really make me want to puke sometimes. I don't know why some will go to any length to defend him when he has done nothing to deserve it.
Through thick and thin I've lived and died every Sunday with my beloved Broncos since I was 6 years old. Before the Super Bowl wins I was a real nutcase. After the Jags loss in 96 the intensity of each game became even more pronounced. After the first Super Bowl win my blood pressure dropped dramatically. I still take the games to seriously sometimes. The AFC Championship loss last year really kicked my butt. It's part of the reason I'm not a Jake fan. The other reason is he just isn't that great of QB period.
I've been posting on other message boards on ESPN and Yahoo for years and just started on myspace recently. I found the Orange Mane about a year ago but just a couple of weeks ago I finally became a member of the site. Some friends I have said I should get in the fray here. I heard about all the long time Mane Dominatrixs who beat down fans here. I expected it, I read some of the posts and knew that some members on here feel like the world begins and ends with what they say about the Broncos.
It really cracks me up big time that a guy who has nearly 5,000 posts on this site would call me a blowhard, it's hilarious. It sounds like you spent night and day on this site sharing your thoughts and opinions. I guess when I have 5,000 posts I can call myself a Expert or someone worthy of sharing an opinion.
I'm here because I am a Broncos fan and I have an opinion, you may not share it that's okay but I'm sure we all want the same result, another championship. Would I be wrong there?

If the other threads about Plummer didn't already show it, this thread just goes to show that no matter what Plummer does, there will be people who do not like him. He has his best game on the road against a solid team ending with a victory and the team is in 1st place at the midway point, after a season of 13-3 and winning the division and one game from the Super Bowl and people are still wanting the rookie Cutler to play now. I'm not sure if these people are fans of the Broncos or only a fan of one player who hasn't even played yet.

Just because of the asinine BS I read around here, I hope Jake is the starting QB NEXT YEAR, too. That ought to frost some balls around here, and well deserved, I might add.
A few "posters" seem to believe that Jake is automatically "gone" next year. If you believe that, go put your house and your gf's engagement ring on that prop in Vegas. It is a silly arsed world people live in when they cannot enjoy the successes of the current team, but continue to pine away for a player who is not going to play this year except under dire circumstances. Moreover, it sticks in the craws of many that this team has won a lot of games with Jake at the position. Don't give me the "Because of or in spite of" crap. Fact is, the team is 6-2 NOW. and I think they have a pretty damm good chance of making the playoffs again THIS YEAR. I am feeling pretty good about that myself. Pi$$ers and Moaners can stuff it up their arses.

Okay, I'm going to back off the Jake debate for a while. I'll just end it with this. Jake will play well enough to get us a playoff spot this year I truly believe it. I just don't believe Jake has the game to get us to the next level. He's proved in the playoffs that he can't handle the pressure and folds up his tent. I know Cutler won't play this season, thats a done deal. Maybe Jake does have a better grasp of the offensive and he gives us the best chance but I'm not buying that he'll get it done.
I've actually praised Jake for the last 2 weeks on myspace but it's got lost in this debate here. I want more than anything to see him do well, I know Jake is giving 100% and it's not from lack of trying. I know he's feeling the pressure from the fans and the media about his game and it's a heavy load he's carrying. I hope he proves me wrong. I'll eat crow gladly and you guys can all tell me you told me so.
I just want a win in the Super Bowl guys. I won't start any more false threads on this site. I respect your opinions and love anyone who follows the Broncos like I do. Even guys who are fans of the Cornhuskers are worthy of love if they bleed the orange and blue. I'm ready for truce and demolition of the Raiders this week.

I sure miss Joe Tiller but hey a win against BYU this week makes it real interesting. Glenn's done a good job with the Cowboys this year though. We lost many close games, we were just one or 2 plays away.
It'd be a great weekened if we can get a Cowboys win and Broncos win.

Take my word Bro, I support the Broncos even with Jake at QB. When Sunday comes I'm the biggest homer there is.
Jake is a gamer I give him that. When he stays within his own abilities and doesn't press he can very effective. This season more often than not when he resorts to trying to hard to make sometime happen he's had the opposite result.
I hope the Jake fans read through these threads and see that I am backing him, I want him to succeed. The last 2 weeks on myspace I've given him some love on blog. I haven't seen a lot of the haters of Jake on this site give him any kind of a chance or cut him any slack. Don't expect me to remain silent if he resorts to the same kind of play he had prior to the Pats and Colts game. If he is the primary reason we get our butts kicked I won't be afraid to say so.
The biggest way we can take pressure off Jake is to get back to controling the game on the ground and getting a better pass rush. I hope Mike Bell has a big day against the Raiders. I haven't followed up on Tatum'ss status for the game I hope he plays if he can. I hope Coyer brings the blitz out of the playbook more often especially if our front 4 doesn't get the job done the rest of the season. It is a team game for sure, Plummer can't do it alone. I just don't want Plummer's play to take us out of game like he did with the Rams game or like he did in his god aweful performance in the AFC Championship Game last year.

Haha, criticizing the starting quarterback equates to not being a true fan?
That's like saying criticizing the President for fighting a costly war is unpatriotic. Oh wait.........

Excellent point, maybe the Broncos should sign Dick Cheney, my guess is he has a better arm than Jake. We already know he's an excellent shot with a shotgun.
