No, this isn't a Jake/Jay re-hash. But there may be an issue brewing in Kansas City. I wanted to pose this question to the people of this board. I'm really interested on what the Chief guys have to say on the issue, as well as everybody else.
Damon Huard or Trent Green, assuming Green will in fact be fully cleared and able to play, which it looks like he will since he has started practicing.
We all know Trent is a good/great QB. You can argue about protection or whatever, but he knows how to get his guys the ball, period.
Damn Huard has played incredibly. Thrown a lot of TDs, not many INTs, and last I checked his QB Rating has averaged around 100. Plus they're what, 6-1 with him in?
So, what do you guys think? Do you go back to the starter, or do you ride the hot hand? A couple weeks ago, I would have said Green no question, but Huard has made a pretty damn strong case to keep on playing.

Where's the "who cares?" option? Hey, and you also forgot the "It's Brian Griese's fault" option...

Not that i give sh*t, But i don't think the chiefs are going to go away from a winner. This is so similar to the Brady/Bledsoe situation. Huard is winning why change it. " If it ain't broken, Why fix it"

While I know people on here don't exactly like to discuss the Chiefs, I think we should probably care a little bit. I mean, I'm not exactly losing sleep over it, but their situation is pretty darn relevant to us, considering they're one game back, winning football games, and we still have to go to their house and play them again.
It'll be pretty interesting to watch it unfold, IMO.

honestly i think its a tough decision. Huard hasnt given kansas city any reason to bench him in favor of green. I know greens been there before and has boatloads more experience but i think you ride the hot hand.

They addressed this on the Chiefs telecast. It's Trent's job and Damon knows it. However, other NFL teams know that Huard is capable of starting in this league. That's the important part for Damon...

Interesting, I had not heard this. So the decision has been made, when Trent is medically cleared to play, he's starting without question?

That's what the announcers said. Take it for what it's worth...

I hope they go with TrInt and drop a game or two due to rust and readjustment.

He needs at least one full week of contact practice to be game-ready. I don't know if that clock will begin this week or next week...

Start the second coming of Len Dawson, I'm talking, of course, about the unstoppable Brodie Croyle. He's the real deal, just ask the ubiquitous chef's fan...
