I like Jake alot, but he just doesn't put fear in defenses like other strong armed QB's. Plummer, Delhomme, Pennington, Brees, Bledsoe, etc. are all good QB's but they just don't put fear in the opposing defenses, and arm strength is a big factor in that. Take for instance Manning, Rothleisberger, Palmer, Romo (yes Romo), Vick, Bulger, Favre, Brady etc. All these guys have major league arms and has the respect of defenses. Cutler has the same major leauge arm and mobility as the just mentioned bunch and we will all see the difference next season when they...... PUT CUTLER IN.

Especially Jeff George. Boy he puts the fear in defenses. Wooo boy.
Same thing with Bledsoe. Defenses cringe when he goes back to pass.
Weak armed QBs like Joe Montana, Steve Young, Matt Hasslebeck, and Phil Simms have never put the ol' fear in a defense. I base all my opinions on what is said on this message board, and I'm pretty sure none of those guys ever went to a pro bowl or won anything against a real defense.

Focus on the guys i mentioned, not the ones i didn't. I was just saying that arm strength is a big factor, and you'll notice that difference once Cutler takes over next season.

Boy George had an asinine personality and wasn't as mobile.
Bledsoe was never mobile from day one.
Steve Young would be the closest to what Cutler brings. Mobile and well armed. Your an idiot.
Joe Montana wasn't weak armed, he wan't armed with a cannon, but he went thru progressions really fast in an offense that was new that is now the standard.
Phil Simms simply was the benefit of a great defense. No argument there.
Matt Hassleback has had one decent year in a very weak conference and weaker division.
Want to know what these SB QB's had in common?

As much as I would like it to be next season I am having doubts about it taking that long and am now myself hoping it wont. other then the indy game we have just been limping by.

It's not true at all. First off, there are alot of very highly educated people in the military, that were not educated in the military. A caller said her husband couldn't wear his uniform during the Vietnam War, and her son was a Double Masters at Cornell. Others were calling in in outrage.
