Dems -2
Reps - 2
Libs - 2

Does not include county, RTD, CU board of regents which have no real party affiliation.

Voted No on all Constitutional Amendments
Voted No on all Referrendums except H (which disallows wages paid to illegals as a tax business deductions - probably uninforcable) and I (which reduces the legal obstacles for gays when dealing with thier partners affairs). I voted against G just as a protest. It just cleans up "gender specific language" in various State documents - just think it is silly to spend the money when courts and everyone knows the intent was not gender specific.

Straight GOP ticket.

Against all sitting judges, no matter of their record.

For gay marriage (or the closest equivalent available).

For individual freedoms, especially when it applies to property and business rights. (That includes the freedom to work for any market clearing wage an employer and an employee might agree upon, regardless of minimum wage laws. There are always legal ways to pay less than the minimum wage to a willing employee.)

Against any tax increases, no matter of their stated intentions, especially as it applies to the government school monopoly and the protected unions that benefit from that monopoly.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

:~ohyah!:

But Cleveland is right .... people who understand that blame-laying and posturing is counter-rpoductive, and teamwork and bi-partisan compromise IS the way to go ... they are the people who are sorely needed in government now.

We used to have them ... on the Barry Goldwater documentary on HBO last month, they talked about how JFK and "Au H2O" (Gold-water) were pretty good friends, and Kennedy had him to the White House for off-the-record dinners and chats about once a month. Get this: Their plan for the 1964 election campaign? They were gonna fly together on AF1 from city to city holding open debates and forums.

Amazing to think of that today.

I've got the new Kearns-Goodwins book on hold at the SPL - "Team of Rivals," which tells how Lincoln governed by bringing together a very wide range of thinkers into his cabinet - and he let them debate, with Abe asking questions. Those debates shook things out pretty well, and apparently they "got to the bottom" of the issues very well.

Me and Cleveland could definitely do that.

By the way .... the most telling - most poignant part of the Goldwater documentary was I think the very last quote in the film. Goldwater said. "In a few years, politicians of my ilk will be considered liberals."

He was right.

That's exactly what should happen, but the competition for money has created a polarization between the parties that will not allow any intelligent debate/compromise. That won't change until the people take our government away from the party machines/special intersts and bring it back to the people.

Governor: Brad Henry
Todd Hiett
Mary Fallin

not sure about the rest but will vote against every spending measure.

I agree. What happened to republicans being fiscally responsible. It seems GW wants to be liked by everyone. Lower taxes, raise defense, education, terrorism etc.etc.etc.

I hope he doesn't run his credit cards like this. He has increased the deficit more than any President in history.
