It's eery how similar the start of this season is a mirror image of last season.

Game 1- Get beat on the road by a team we probably should have thwarted to start 0-1

Game 2- Big division win in our home opener (1-1)

Games 3,4,5 all wins to improve to 5-1

Game 5- Lost a game at the end of the game.... .02 seconds on the clock in both games (Giants game last season and today)

We are sitting in the same exact position as last season, 5-2. That's with the offense sputtering the majority of this season (before today) and, IMHO a much improved Defense (save for today).

We'll be fine. We lost to a great team with arguably the best QB in the league. It was a coin flip game today. Anyone could have won today. I think everyone knew that whoever had the ball last, was gonna come out on top. Unfortunately, they had the ball.
Just a bump in the road on this long journey to Lombardi world.
Now, let's forget about the disappointing loss and focus on seeking revenge on the Pittsburgh Steelers and officially, bounce them from playoff contention.

While I appreciate the circumstances as wel as your enthusiasm, this loss is demoralizing. The one team we just cannot seem to stop comes into our house... and we can't stop them again. If we have any chance at winning the superbowl, Indy has to get bounced in the divisional round...

Good post, unfortunately last year the 8th game was at home and this time it's a roady. I wish the Steelers would've won today because now any hope for their season is on the line next week. We owe them from last year, though.

Yeah, in the 8th week we had the Egirls at home (a super bowl team the year before), and this year in the 8th week we have the Steelers, a super bowl team from the year before. Coincidence? I think not.

I disagree.....I want Indy to beat NE next week. Why? Because with Indy already up on us by 2 games with the tiebreaker....we would have to out-win them by 3 games to have a shot at HFA....not gonna happen.

Therefore, it's more important to have a better record than NE....in order to have another shot at the #2 seed.

we'll be fine. we are a good team. We played badly on defense against the run and the pass. We can only play better from here on out.

We've always taken the regular season games against Indy and given up the post season victories... maybe we'll switch that this year.

yep and the second loss of the year was to a manning, add that one too. game 8, playing against a blitz happy team from pennsylvania. pretty much were going to win 49-21 and mbell and tbell both getting 100 yards, jake getting 300, marshall scoring a touchdown and whatever else there was minus hines ward pulling a TO performance, that was when champ was really injured. other than that, total domination over the steelers

I was thinking the same thing when Bell had that big run...I knew that if the Broncos scored they were leaving too much time on the clock.
