Just thought I would balance out the positive/negative Jake Plummer threads.
1 TD rushing. 1 TD passing. Keep it going, Jake!

I am loving the designed runs. That 3rd down run was SWEET.

Great execution by Jake. I'm impressed not only by the gameplan, but by the way they seemed to open the playcalling up on the fly when they realized Jake was feeling it today.

He's missed several throws and just turned it over in the redzone for umpteenth time. Thanks Jake.

I don't think anyone could carry Jakes jock, since its full of **** from all the times he has soiled himself when he is in the face of pressure.

Great job Jake. And for the idiots who will be blaming him for the loss... get a clue.
Our "great" defense blew it tonight. I'm so ****ing pissed I can barely type...

Nominated for stupidest post of the year.
Plummer player pretty well today but the Colts showed why they're undefeated.

Has anyone seem Cutler play?
Jake did NOTHING in the second half, well he did fumble.
The D has saved it O's ass in 5 games this year, it was time for some pay back against a bad D. The O failed.

Jake Plummer is that shiny object that deflects people's attention away from this glaring, obvious problem we've had going on 10 years, now. Next year, it'll be something else.
This is simply the same thing that's happened in every playoff loss. The difference is, the offense fought through a crappy performance by our D, crappy starting position and no turnovers by our D.
Didn't matter, as it wouldn't have mattered against Pittsburgh, or against Indy the last few times they lit us up.
You can either play defense, or you can't. If you're not lucky enough to have Manning/Harrison/Wayne, you've got a play a little defense... more specifically, get to the QB.
Same old story, folks. Nothing new, no surprises.

Well, it was mostly tongue in cheek. But, I mean... you know it's true.
Doesn't matter. Plummer is irrelevant to this collapse, as he's been irrelevant to our D's prior collapses in big games.

Great day for the offense. How about Mike effin Bell! Jake played solid. And for only the second time this year, I really liked the offensive play calling. It gives me faith that we'll definitely being pulling down a lot more W's this season.
As for the D....I knew we were screwed when Peter King compared us to the '85 bears. Still, I was expecting a lot better. Looking into my crystal ball, I see a draft consisting of D-line, D-line, O-line, Safety, Cornerback, D-line, maybe a receiver. **** on a stick. But it's a still a good D. We'll be keeping lesser offenses to 14 and under.
It's okay. We will SLAM Pittsburgh.
