John Lynch has stated that this is one game in which the fans [aka.] the 12th man can make a diffrence. I have seen all the games to date, been to one and I know that you guys at the game can bring it on when you want to. The monday game was a good example and that one was only the faders. This one has more at stake in the long run than the fade game. So I wamt to hear it here in wisc. and don't let up for a second. Use cowbells, use your hands ,use your voice, just do it and be loud about it!!! I'll do my part here in wisc. with my BRONCO crew. OK with that said, I have to go and chase down a few cows to get some more cowbells for the game tomorrow. GO BRONCOS;D  !Booya!

Milehimike,
You bring new meaning to "Every time a bell rings..."!!! Go get them cattle!
Just imagine what stadiums would be like if the entire place was filled with fans rather than people who get their tickets as corporate giveaways! See you in Chicago next year!

The 12th man can make a difference. They can either stand behind Jake beyond a couple of incomplete passes or they can throw in the towel like what will happen in here on the "game thread" at the first incomplete pass.
The game is 4 full quarters. If the crowd and Jake don't give up we can hammer the Colts out of dodge. If Jake and the Broncos make an early mistake and the 12th man (gives up) and sits on their hands Manning will pick us apart.
I have faith in Jake and the 12th man @ Mile High tomorrow!
Go Bronocs!
I've heard plenty of Broncos fans say that the 12th man doesn't matter (even on this forum) but I'll take the opinion of guys like John Elway, Rod Smith, and John Lynch who have all asked the 12th man to step up when they have needed it.
Hell I don't need the opinion of any of those guys to tell me it matters.
The 12th man does matter.

It's just a good thing that all the boos from the orangemane over the last few weeks won't be piped into the stadium during the Colts game. lol
This is going to be a tough game no doubt. I just hope Jake leads this team to a sorry as 1 point victory so everyone can be pissed off again. I've been loving this 5 game (anti-Jake) victory run....

Actually, when I go to the game, its to cheer my ass off for the Broncos.
You go to the game so people can tell you what a great fan you are. I've seen you in the stadium, Meck. Climbing up on railings and running around like an egomaniac. The actual football fans are watching the action on the field, not trying to get everybody to look at them.
Keep buying your friends, though. Then come in here and bust Taco's balls when he doesn't kiss your feet for doing it.

Haven't climbed a railing since the Cleveland game several years ago bud and that was to start the wave while we were having a real dismal game. Musta been another dude in a Meck jersey you are confused with.
Imagine 77,000 slaps in the stadium. Now that would be special. 77,000 bitter Broncos fans crying to bring in Cutler.....

The cameras have been shaking for all the home games this season. The crowd noise has been tremendous. I know some people in here who have been accused of never going to any games actually not having a speaking voice for an entire week following the game.
Threads like this tend to piss me off. Do your part at the stadium and don't worry about anyone else.
Everyone has the right to experience the game in the manner they choose. This constant bashing of sell out crowds is as tired of topic as the where's the offense debate.

Exactly. The last game I attended at Invesco was pretty good, crowd-wise. But, it definitely too a few guys in a few sections regularly reminding the fans to get off their asses and get pumped up.
It's not Mile High, but it's definitely getting better... thanks to nut-jobs like Meck and Co.
When my wife and I came to town, Meck not only invited us to his pre-game (prior eve) pre-party, but took the time to break down everything for us ranging from places to stay, to places to go out and hunt for the old vintage broncos garb I love so much.
He helped us with tips on the parking situation, and other related issues. Then, of course... he and his crew hosted the best tailgate party I've seen, and from what I understand... he did a lot of that at a financial loss. How many people would do that?
Just add me in with the countless people who's experience going to a game was made markedly better by Meck, who went through a lot of effort for us, for no other reward than being a good fan... and helping out another fan.
But, leave it to this board to find fault with a fan like that. Most team's fans would worship a die-hard like this.
Some people get out and actually do things, and some just stagnate and criticize those who do things. I'll side with the former, every time...

I don't think I've ever Boo'd at a game before, but I don't care if someone rightfully does. Honestly it's just not that big of a deal to me. If someone makes a dumb personal foul, is generallly slacking and being lazy on the field, (MDP flashbacks) or is anchoring a possible champion (Oh noes I bashed Jake) then by all means boo.

I've always felt that fans purchase the right to boo when they buy a ticket. It's not against the rules, and it's gone on forever.
That said, my PERSONAL opinion is that people who boo are usually ****ty fans. I'm not saying that's god's law, I'm just saying that's how I feel about it. I go out to support my team. I can disagree with personnel choices, but there are other ways to voice that displeasure. I go to games to have fun and get behind my team. If you look around, my guess is that 9 times out of 10, the people you'll find booing couldn't name 2 offensive linemen to save their lives.
Though, I guess I would have boo'd Dale Carter, given the chance. Outside of that, even a guy like Griese... who I couldn't stand as a player, I'd never dream of booing him. Booing is for other teams... refs, etc.
Just my opinion.

No one here would have EVER known about it if I hadn't just posted it. He did it strictly to help. He hadn't even met us in person, yet.
So, sure... he may get a little rush out of the whole thing, as he should. But, it's not an act. That guy genuinely cares about the team, the fans and helped us a great deal at no reward or recognition for doing so... and at a time I know he was overwhelmed with the whole thing.

If that makes me a bad fan, so be it. There's no law that says I have to like every player on my favorite team or that I have to be nice to them.

Theo didn't play, but I did take this picture to illustrate what it would have been like if he'd been in goal that night.

I'll admit I've never been to a game at Mile High or Invesco....so that makes someone a better fan than I?....Only in their tremendous ego.
I don't think the complaint is about whether people can actually attend a game or not. What gets me is when I can't talk for days after a game and you open up a thread on the Mane and people who aren't at the game are criticisizing those who were. Home or in the crowd, everyone is a fan so why do we have to have what makes somebody a better fan contest?
Personally, I don't worry about what anyone else is doing in the seat they paid for. I tend to be noisy and I've never had anyone get upset about it. To me the debates about the crowd noise from someone who isn't there is silly. -- But I don't think it questions your dedication as a fan.

I agree....I just got into the crossfire (if you will) because I believe that Meck has contributed to changes in attitude at the new stadium...reports from training camp are great from others, but when it comes to gameday if he didn't make what he does happen I wonder just how different it would be....he's done radio interviews, etc and I don't think it's for his own attention, that it's for his love of the Broncos....I'm officially off this subject now and leave it to the true fans. P.S....I'll be in touch when I do get a chance to get to my first game Meck, you will be the guy I'll be calling.

He does that homo on hockey rants had the gall to say it's a bad thing we rely on a joe as the corner stone.
One nice note, just so Canucks fans don't get too smug about the fate of the once-mighty Avalanche -- I'm glad to see Joe Sakic get his 1,500th point. While it's not good that they're relying on a 37-year-old as the cornerstone of the offense,

That's what I'm saying "This thread was supposed to be about fans pumping each other up"... Isn't that what he tries to do...I've been to the tailgates in Denver, I've seen him in the crowd...pumping up Bronco fans is exactly what Meck does.

I must admit my work is cut out for me every Sunday at home. It will be the biggest play of the game and the club weenies usually are sittin on their hands. I go every week and yell my ass off and must admit that if even half of the club wine/cheese crowd was up and yelling the stadium would be a whole lot louder. I love the club seats but miss my buddies in the south stands of yesterday.
