Preliminary List released here:
http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/story.jsp?story_id=2234
Nothing to get excited about as there are over 100 players on the preliminary list here.
I have an urgent request!!!!!!
Two years ago, many of us enjoyed the weekend in Canton, celebrating Broncomania and the incredible John Elway.
The following preseason week the Broncos played the Bills up in Buffalo and it was televised live by the NFL Network. Did anyone record that game and keep it??
I'm not talking about the hokey NFL Films 1 hour condensed version where 12 players were mic'd up. I'm talking about the live TV broadcast on NFL Network.
Anyone?? Big Play Shay??
Lemme know.
Thanks.

Now that the NY Giants Football Writers Blow Job Club got their candidate in through Harry Carson's embarrassing means, I believe Randy Gradishar has a respectable chance; albeit not a great one.
It is interesting to note that the three players pictured in the link here again. Two finalists from last year and the great Randy Gradishar.
http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/story.jsp?story_id=2234
Some of the people on the Committee for Gradishar felt he would have to wait for the NY Blowjob Club to get their way first, but Randy would have a good chance after that.

Forgot to mention that in that preseason Broncos Bills telecast, Color Man, Dan Fouts, says some incredible and powerful things about Randy Gradishar.
He called him the best Defensive player he ever played against. Hence, my reason for wanting the telecast.
Thanks for any help.

TD: NFL record 7 straight playoff games with 100+ yards rushing
TD: A Superbowl MVP and a season MVP
TD: Lead the AFC 3 straight years in rushing
TD: Almost never fumbled in the red zone
TD: One of only 4 players to break the hallowed 2000 yard mark and not kill his wife!
TD: Achieved the 2000 yards while being taken out of blowouts in the 3rd quarter 3-5 times, unlike Dickerson, Sanders and Lewis.

Good to see TD getting some love...
I have seen 1000 yard backs come and go under Shanahan's system but no one has come close running it as well as TD did. The fact that he is very much in the running to get in the HOF in just his first year up for vote bodes very well for his chances of making the HoF. Might not be this year, but to be this highly regarded after his first year, I'd say he is in pretty good shape.

Why does TD heading the list surprise people all the guy did was dominate. There are a ton of other guys with alot less credentials than TD in the hall!!
I think TD makes it! He was the catalyst that propelled the Broncos to their two SuperBowls and the guy who finally helped push John's offense over the top. Drafted in the sixth round he has more TDs in his first four seasons than any running back in Canton (56). He was selected as ESPNs All-time 40 man SB roster, Selected as a member of the 90's ALL-decade team, 3 AFC rushing titles, one NFL rushing title, 1999 NFL Offensive player of the year, 3 time Pro-Bowler, 1998 league MVP, first player in NFL history to score 3 rushing TDs in a game. 1997 SuperBowl MVP, 2K back, two SuperBowl rings, made the mile high salute a national spectacle and had a fun loving good attitude. Mark it down TD will be in hall folks!!!

Gochiefs, you missed the point. Congratulations.
Sharpe is superior to Gonzalez because he not only has the superior statistics, but was an integral part of a back-to-back champion, and has the best statistical support of any TE in NFL history. The. Best. Ever. Period. Game. Over. Take. Your. Ball. And. Go. Home.
