I saw on ESPN news flash, Damon Huard had an undisclosed injury at practice yesterday, and his status for Sundays game is in doubt. Looks like Boob may get his wish to see Brodey, should be a helleva match-up with Croyle vs. Senneca.Hilarious!

Dunno. Seneca Wallace is a fair running QB, and that may test the Hour-Glass speed of the Mulletsville LBs. ( At least he plays on a team that has won a Playoff game in the past three decades.) While there are those who would mock the chances of the mighty and proud Seahawks, I, for one, would not cast my stone (a primitive form of voting) against the stalwart ex-champions from the Norhtwest-by-the-Sea. It is with pride and confidence that I proclaim my allegiance to that formidable force of football power, fortitude and perseverance: Walruses' Warriors.

Without a doubt, this train-wreacking crew will dismantle the Mulletsville Mustard and Ketchup Shop and bring it to its knees. The shear magnitude of the putrid odor of uncontrolled flatulance unleased by the disbelieveing crowd at narrowhead will ensure the timely exit of all civilians from the area, which will be declared a City Emergency.

Because of this possible scenario, I would advise one and all to refrain from travel there, but merely watch the wonderous event unfold on your trusty 12-inch black and white screens.

I call BS on the presumed loss by Seattle. And Seneca, a fellow Iowan, will prevail.

Last I heard, the Iowa State Legislature had not determined that Ames or it's denizens were expelled from the great State of Iowa. Hence, Iowa State is in Iowa, and therefore he is from the Great State of Iowa, and therefore, an Iowan.

Thou canst not cast thy aspersions upon these valued and earnest thoughts because thou hast not the purity of heart unto the worth of ath-a leets from the Great State of Iowa. Begone! You mistook the meaning of the parable: the Hour-Glass speed of Mustard and Ketchup Mullets shall not be measured good against the intrinsic goodness and quickness of Iowa ath-a-leets, State or No.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Damon Huard injured his groin in practice Thursday, but was going to attempt to practice Friday in hopes of playing this weekend, ESPN.com's John Clayton reported.

The Kansas City Star first reported that Huard was injured in practice Thursday and is uncertain for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Starting quarterback Trent Green returned to practice for the Chiefs this week. But Green, still recovering from a severe concussion, is not expected to return to the field until the Chiefs' Nov. 12 game against the Miami Dolphins, at the earliest.

That would set up a Sunday matchup of untested quarterbacks making their first NFL starts: The Seahawks' Seneca Wallace, who is filling in for the injured Matt Hasselbeck, and the Chiefs' Brodie Croyle, a rookie from Alabama.

Huard, who is 3-2 as a starter since taking over for Green, is ranked fifth in the NFL with a 96.7 quarterback rating. He has completed 104 of 163 passes for 1,163 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Chiefs' starting quarterback generally meets with reporters on Thursday afternoons, but Huard was not present, the Star reported. A team spokesman told the newspaper he was attending an NFL Players Association meeting.

Wallace was 14 of 25 for 134 yards and two interceptions in relief after Hasselbeck was injured last Sunday. Hasselbeck is out for three weeks with a sprained MCL on his right knee.

Croyle, a rookie from Alabama, was 3 of 7 for 23 yards and two picks in a mop-up role at the end of a 45-0 blowout loss to the Steelers.

<!-- End sidebar displayed --> <!-- Text Story Detail --> KANSAS CITY, MO. -- The Kansas City Chiefs may have lost another quarterback. Sources told FOX 4 Damon Huard hurt his groin at the end of practice on Thursday.

Huard did show up to practice on Friday morning. He was wearing his uniform, but FOX 4's Al Wallace reported Huard appeared to be walking gingerly.

After practice, Quarterback Brody Croyle told FOX 4 Sports he does expect Huard to start and play on Sunday.

Croyle took all the snaps with the team, as a precaution, which he does each week, but said Huard should play.

Chiefs Head Coach Herm Edwards and Damon Huard have not comented.

Huard missed a scheduled press conference after Thursday's practice. A spokesperson for the Chiefs said Huard was a Player's Association meeting.

The Chiefs will play the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead on Sunday.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Alright, all you disbelieveing disbelievers. Seneca has been to the battlegrounds and has seen the battles up close and personal. He has the eagle eyes of the warrior Seneca and he has experienced the strong training and development plans of the Wounded Walrus and his minions. The minions have done their jobs, and Seneca the Warrior shall strike hard and furiously at the slow and befuddled mullets. (The ones with the hour-glass speed in the second level of pretend "defenders".) Striking swiftly and with dispatch, Seneca and his band will render said mullets into manure and they shall be lost in the feedlots, forever being underfoot of the walking hamburgers.

Besides, I got a feeling that the Seahawks are going to play well Sunday.
