i voted, Hagan had a nice game for the Fins.
Good to see, i liked him here at ASU. They suck without him.

It wouldn't matter because Hawk has the hype to go with his stats.

Elvis Dumervil, Denver DE
Recorded three tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery in the Broncos’ 17-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Following a two-sack performance last week against Oakland, Dumervil recorded his second consecutive multi-sack game. He now has five sacks this season, second-most among NFL rookies.
They mentioned the fumble recovery unless it was updated after you checked last.

Ooooh, Hawk recorded 9 tackles and a sack. That is amazing!
What in the hell is so special about that to warrant 66% of the vote?
Herbtastic.

I'm biased, but it's Doom in a walk as far as I'm concerned ...

Because he's a Cheddar Head. Packer fans are everywhere...most of them have been in the closet the past couple of years, but they are out there casting their votes. Also, it is a popularity vote. AJ Hawk, with his golden locks of hair, was the first round pick of the Green Bay Packers...it is just a much sexier pick than some 3rd rounder for the Broncos named Elvis. Sad, but true. Sorry, 9 tackles with 1 sack? Should that even be a nominee. 3 sacks with a fumble recover sounds a bit more dominant to me, but I guess I'm biased, huh?
They really need to have an offensive rookie and defensive rookie of the week.

Don't worry about it Deus. No one even saw our game and getting three sacks agains the wounded Browns line isn't the most impressive achievment in the NFL.
Elvis will get more chances.

Actually, I can't figure out why, but the Bronco-Brown game was even televised here on the East coast. So plenty saw it.

3 sacks against any team is a very impressive performance. You don't see many 3 sack games even against the worst of teams. Easily the performance of the week for a rookie.

yeah i think it should have been dumervil or leon washington:20 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns is pretty good. three sacks and a FR are good too but(maybe im overunbiasing(?)) this one but i think washingtons performance was even better for a rookie. i dont know but it was definitely not aj hawk or hagan and no way lundy can get it if somebody from the same position outdid him.
on another note, interesting to see that these guys are all late round picks with the exception of hawk. dumervil 4th, hagan 3rd, washington and lundy were both late or maybe even UDFA

Elvis gets 3 sacks and a fumble on Pay-me-a-ton Manning and people
will notice him.

I just voted ten times and I am so pissed about our Super Bowl XXXII whores stuffing the ballot box, that I am going to vote at least 20 more times.
IF THE ORANGE MANE STEPS UP, WE CAN TAKE THIS!

Wow, AJ Hawk has 2.5 sacks for the whole season? Elvis just got on the field a few games ago and has 5 total, 2nd in league for rookies. Packer fans are stuffing the ballot box as well as the OSU alumni. Where is Kentucky when you need them?

Having voting where you can vote ten tines is inherently flawed and worthless.
Feel free to vote 3000 times.
We allready saw some Safety voted to the probowl who was cut and is out of the league.

I'm disappointed, but I'm not surprised Hawk is turning in games with 12 tackles and a sack. I said he would wind up being the best defensive player to come out of this draft. He's not without flaws. McNabb made him look silly with a juke at the goalline on MNF a few weeks back.
If Elvis keeps it up and finishes with double digit sacks, he'll get plenty of ROY votes at the end of the season.
