I'm in a bit of a pickle as the only QB on my roster goes by the name of Hasselbeck and he plays in Seattle. Pending the results from the MRI, he's looking at anywhere from no time lost to as much as 4 weeks from what I've read. I picked up Charlie Batch yesterday in the hopes that Big Ben isn't cleared to play next week.
My real question is should I make a move to pick up a solid (read: starting) QB or just roll with whoever I can pick up week-to-week until Hasselbeck gets back. I think the answer lies in the question "well, how good is the rest of your team?". If you put a gun to my head right now I would go with whichever QB I could pick up each week as the rest of my team is pretty good. My roster:
QB - M. Hasselbeck
WR - J. Walker
WR - M. Harrison
WR - A. Johnson
WR - J. Cotchery
WR - M. Furrey
RB - L. Tomlinson
RB - W. Parker
RB - K. Barlow
RB - M. Bell
TE - A. Crumpler
TE - D. Clark
K - J. Carney
D - San Diego
It seems I have some room to make moves w/ my WRs and TEs.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
