Damn Gonzo, it's not all right for me to consider drafting a lineman, but we can bring back Carswell? Funny **** man, funny. How's your parents basement treatin' ya?

What? Are you going to draft a lineman tomorrow to replace Lepsis on the roster?
I thought you would understand the premise of the thread but obviously not.
I will type slower for you next time.

He'll be good for depth.

Is he really a viable starting option though? I mean, I don't know if he is or if he isn't.

We are not bringing in a street free agent to start for us, just backup help.
Carswell knows the system and Shanahan had a quote saying that if somebody went down, the house would be the first person he called.

No, he's not...
I wouldn't be suprised to see us move Foster over to the left side, and use Meadows on the right. If we bring in House, he'll be a back-up in case of further injury.

Bringing House back would make me feel really good inside. I don't know if I want him getting any significant playing time, but the feeling good inside thing should count for something, right?

Oh, that's just great. Move our worst lineman over to protect Jake's backside......:nono:
I'd rather see us keep Tubby on the right side, and take our chances with Pears on the left.
Foster is playing out of position on the right side. He was drafted out of college as a LEFT tackle. Maybe this is why he has been average since becoming a starter?

Dan Neil does a radio show here in Austin. Maybe he can make a come back. He will be good for a few holding penalties.

Foster has been the right tackle for what, 3-4 years? The footwork, stance, everything is different. Shanahan is not going to move Foster.

I think it all depends how much faith Shanny has in Meadows. He couldn't beat out Pears and he hasn't been active all year. If Shanny has doubts about Meadows than House probably will be getting a call.
