All year here in Austin all I've heard is how week the Big 12 is but here we are over half way through the season and they have 5 teams in the top 25. I realize that it would look better to have them higher in the top 25. However, when you look at it, Oklahoma should be ranked much higher. They only have one true loss and it was to a top 5 team (Texas). Both of Nebraska's losses are to teams in the top 5 (Texas and USC).

Nebraska will not get any respect until we finally beat someone in the top ten

But look how disrespected they are in the BCS computer polls. Oklahoma and Nebraska get big fat zeroes across the board, which, of course, is dragging down Texas' computer poll numbers too.

The Big 12 is a much tougher conference than it gets credit for, and that's all I got to say.

I like how the the guys at 1300 the Zone were complaining that they never should have scheduled tOSU because they would be #2 otherwise. I seem to remember a certain epic win last year in Columbus that kickstarted the National Title season. If the Horns would have better nonconference wins than North Texas, Rice and Sam Houston St the computers would have them higher.

tOSU has the domination in Austin, Michigan has the smackdown in South Bend, and USC smoked Arkansas and Nebraska, with Notre Dame coming up in November. Can't say much for WVU, but those other schools have solid road nonconference wins. That's what the computers love.

Hokies might creep back in if they close out Clemson
