What is the problem with the TE's in the passing game. I didn't get to see the game just wondering why they were not a part of the passing game yet again. Should we be worried about the lack of production?

this scares the hell outta me more so than anything. I haven't watched tape (hint) but i'm befuddled why our TE's are getting no attention. I stick by plummer at QB, but I am very confident Cutler would be hitting the TE's. I don't know whats up with this, but we need this portion of the offense moreso than anything else I can think of. I really don't know the answer. I hope shanahan has something in the bag.

Did the TE's even have a catch? All four were active.

this is all a clever ploy by Shanny Heimmey and Denneyson to hide our O until we REALLY need it.

The TE's were invisible when Cleveland fans pulled out baby seal clubs before the game.

Because right now all Denver's Tight Ends are one dimensional. They can either block or catch but can't do both. The defenses know it.

Maybe SF will let Eric Johnson go!

What a shocking stat...

I saw several cases where Shannahan was using the TE's on drag routes to clear Walker (in particular) up-field. I can't beleive that all 4 where on the roster as decoys, however:)

I will definitely not go as far as to say that "Cutler would find the TE's" as I'm not convinced that the Broncos have a starting TE on their roster right now. In looking at past games, I haven't seen TE's running open a whole lot (and that includes Scheffler) in past games. I can find a few cases where Plummer missed TE reads, but it doesn't seem to be endemic (and certainly not to the point that they aren't catching any balls for an entire game).

The tight ends were big parts of the run and pass game today. They drew a lot of coverage that opened things up for Javon and Rod. Nate Jackson finally earned some of his paycheck and blocked very well today.
