Lynch is one of the best safeties in the league. It's usually at this point that someone who doesn't know what they're talking about comes in here and says he "gets burned in coverage a lot" which of course isn't true. He knocked a TD pass out of Moss' hands last game. So much for getting burned.

Over the previous few seasons, I wanted Lynch replaced with a better cover safety.

However, this year, Lynch's play has been great both against the run and pass. The scheme of a defense is very important to what they accomplish and ultimately what each player accomplishes.
