Ok my fine friends the hunting season is apon us and Im gonna be out of here for the most of next week. Well wishs/crossed fingers/prayers are all accepted.

Now for the bitching part.

Fricking out of state out of area ****'ers need to go away. The converge on my small town....now theres nothing wrong with that....brings in good $ to the local economy BUT if they have to come is it too ****ing much to ask that they act like members of the ****ing human ****ing race??? Seriously they drive like **** ask **** for brains questions...Park like **** act like the ****ing own the roads......think us poor hick small town people should be honored by their mere presence. Well listen up you stupid ****'ers your **** stinks also. Those of us that chose to live in a small town do so for a reason....its to avoid dumb ***holes like yourselves. Just realize your a visitor/guest and have just a little bit of ****ing respect for those people who have to put up with your over populating my town.

I swear one more ***hole asks me "where are all the deer & elk at" while standing next to his trailor loaded with 4 wheelers Im gonna tear his head off and kick his ***. Seriously get your fat *** off the 4 wheeler and walk some of that fricking blubber off your mid section and you just might see an elk or two.

Disclaimer - Im very well aware that many who visit for hunting seasons do so with respect and are very good people.

I'm in agreement with the out-of-Staters being here-I went to Breakfast this morning and there wasn't a seat at the Restaurant(here in Glenwood Springs)-why don't they chase Bambi out in the Corn Fields out in Kansas(for some good Corn fed Bambi?)

Hmmmm reminds me of a hunt I went on in Wyoming, stopped in this little town called Baggs and we got the food and hunting license stamp there and before us a three guys had two carts, one for food and the other was loaded with beer and liquor. I asked these guys where they were hunting and they said up in the Medicine bow area right where I was hunting. So we put our stuff in the truck and head up to the mountains where we find a campsite to crash for the week and the rest of the day we spend scouting for possible areas to hunt. We find a nice hill/canyon where we thing deer might pass through so we planned on going there the next morning. We get up at 3am for coffee and breakfast, ****ing cold in the morning too, anyway we get our gear and drive out in our quads to the spot we scouted. We had a good hike down the hill and its about 7 in the morning and all of a sudden POW! We heard a gunshot in the distance, look at my dad and whisper somebody got one...pow! (silence) Im glassing off into the nearby hills where the gunshots are coming from maybe to see deer on the move, but didn't see anything. pow! (thinking ok maybe 3 is the charm)....pow! At this point Im going this guy lost the deer and is shooting aimlessly. Pow! What the ****! The guy rattled off 2-3 more shots, unbelievable. So we hiked a bit more and then turned around back to the quads and ironically enough we saw those same guys buying liquor and food at the local market pass by. Now assuming it was them shooting nearby(Im pretty sure it was)then chances are they drank the night before, no reason to rattle off 5 shots especially since before your hunt you get your sights set in at the range or something.:spit:

Wow this is just sad...and it is in your neck of the woods Hotrod-

GUNNISON, Colo. -- No charges will be filed in the accidental fatal shooting of a New York hunter in Gunnison County Tuesday afternoon.

According to the sheriff's department, Joseph DiBiasa Jr., 66, of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., was hunting on Fitzpatrick Mesa with a group including his 41-year-old son.

Witnesses said the group was walking through the forest when the shoulder sling on the 7 mm magnum hunting rifle broke. The hunter reacted to secure the weapon before it fell to the ground and inadvertently pulled the trigger.

The rifle discharged, striking DiBiasa in the chest and killing him almost instantly.

The sheriff's office said the death was ruled an accidental shooting and Joseph Michael DiBiasa was not charged in the case.

Ronkonkoma, N.Y., is located on Long Island.

Hotrod - just drive over my way. There are a couple hundred deer grazing peacefully on the Dept of Corrections hay fields just SE of Johnson Village. More deer than people in the town of Buena Vista - just lasso one.

Another thing besides stupid ****ing out of staters that piss me off is the in-state assheads who try to kill the buzz of a good kill. So after I shoot my what I think is a nice damn buck, I drive into town and stop at the conveniece store to get some game bags. When I walk out to my truck I come upon two dudes looking in the back of my truck at the deer. On smart ass pops off, what you couldn't find the dad, and the other comes off with, yeah, where'd you get this little guy. I shook my head and laughed and merely said, so how'd you do today. They looked at each other and walked away. These montucky, imbred woodticks are something else, if you dont look like the combination between Rambo and Elmer Fudd, they dont think you're a true hunter. **** I have forgotten more about hunting than these ****ers will ever know!

The "Cattlemens" I think it was called. Nicest steakhouse/hotel east of the mississippi ;)

I saw a couple of things this year that made me sick.

Just heard some retard from TX shot a moose this season. :nono: Another guy I saw shot his deer straight into hamburger.

Im mean **** if you dont know what the animal your hunting even looks like or you just cant shoot dont.

Those are the types who are going to ruin it for everyone.

Where was the Moose? Assume it migrated from Creede herd.

North Park Moose have migrated all the way down to South Park. One was seen near Trout Creek Pass last year.

Not sure BG heard about it from a friend who works for the DOW. I saw one once up above Pitkin around middle quartz creek (if you know that area). I would assume they are coming over from creede also.

A few years back some douche bag in the up at Malmstrom (AF base in Great Falls) decided, hey, I live in Montana now (I think he was from New York) so I am going hunting. The idiot goes out and shoots what he thought was his first deer, dresses it out and then takes it to a game processor. The butcher looks at him and asks if this is a ****ing joke, the kid says no why? The butcher tells him, we dont process llamas! The ****ing idiot shot a damn llama!

We hear stuff like that all of the time - cattle, horses and mules thought to be elk.

Goats, sheep and dogs thought to be deer.

Everyone blames the Texans, but I am sure the goats and sheep must be KC fans.

I just heard something that may be of interest to Colorado hunters.

The DOW has just contracted with a company that uses dogs to find exposives and drugs to help capture poachers. I have seen these dogs work. They can find a 22 buried a foot in the ground. As I understand it the DOW can get about a 98% conviction rate for poachers if they can find the gun. Poachers usually stash the guns when they find the cops closing in on them, so these dogs will be looking for the stashed guns. For the DOW test, two officers stashed a gun about 15 ft up in a tree. They turned the dogs loose a mile away and they found the gun in less than 10 minutes.
