STRONGSVILLE, Ohio -- Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is promoting his return to the ring, but he's campaigning for Maryland U.S. Senate candidate Michael Steele at the same time.

In Strongsville, Ohio Tuesday, Tyson wore a white and blue Steele for U.S. Senate T-shirt and said he used to believe black Republicans were "sellouts."

The 40-year-old Tyson said "We have to open our eyes more."

Tyson's former manager, Don King, campaigned with Steele on Monday in Maryland.

Hmmm, all I can say is this is interesting but really does Mike Tyson influence people to vote one way or another?

Michael Steele is running some very slick TV ads in Maryland. Whoever doing the ad step-up for him is really good.

Of course he is. He's always saying the wrong thing and he bites more than he can chew.He can't balance his budget.

Yeah I have seen just about all of them and they are pretty good ads, I just saw one of them and Steele is backed up by Russel Simmons( ceo of Def Jam)? Thought that guy was liberal as they come?

In related news, I've been named the heavyweight boxing champion of the world.

Mr. Tyson and I have agreed to share the meal that is your children.

Or those table scraps that still remain when this rough beast is finally through gorging itself.
