Anybody watched this? I'm not big on network telly, but I'd wanted to watch Tina Fey's show on Tues at 7pm, but missed it last week, and then reading my church newspaper, this show about a Texas football coach and community got positive rep.
Also, a dad of one of my kid's friends mentioned some reality show about the biggest of the bigtime Alabama high school teams, and how the show showed football in all its brutal ugliness. Anybody know anything about that show?

The first episode of Friday Night Lights was pretty good, missed it last week.
The reality show is called "Two-A-Days" and it's on MTV. Also pretty good (and brutally real at times) but mixed in with a bunch of angsty high school soap opera crap. And they all have really dumb haircuts.
The movie (with Billy Bob Thorton) was great...probably one of my favorite football movies.
I tried to watch the premier of the TV show but, for some reason, couldn't get into it.
For what its worth the same guy who directed the movie created the TV show.

Watched the first 5 minutes of the first episode - Friday Nite Lights, that is. Havent thought about it since.

I saw last weeks episode, typical night time soapopera stuff. Glad I don't watch Network TV much anymore but I really was hot for the coaches wife. She does it for me.
