TO unfortunately has a very valid point.
Mac Engel, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens disagrees with the punishment Tennessee Titans DL Albert Haynesworth received for stomping on Cowboys C Andre Gurode (face). Owens believes it isn't fair he was punished for nine games for "freedom of speech" while with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005 and Haynesworth was only suspended for five games without pay.
BTW, Slug was right there will be no criminal charges.

In all Honesty, Haynesworth should have been suspended for the Season. As for Owens, he deserves everything that comes his way so if a 9 game suspension was brought down than so be it. No love loss here with me.

The difference is, Owens was suspended by the Eagles. Haynesworth was suspended by the league, and the Titans may very well add to the punishment.

What a shocker...TO defending irresponsible behavior. He's such a complete tool. If anyone should understand the consequences of acting out, it should be him. If not for that idiot owner facelift Jones, he would be walking the street or playing for league minimum. I don't think 90% of teams would even consider signing him...unfortunately, we appear to of been one of them, but not at nearly the fleecing price he did to Jones. Parcells absolutely hates him, calling him "that player".
What a miraculous recovery from his hamstring injury that never showed up on multiple MRI's once he was threatened with release. The next day he was back on the field. He's a lying POS who loves breaking the rules. He might of strained his hamstring, but repeated examinations didn't show anything. Can you imagine Parcell's BP when he saw TO in that Tour de France outfit or when people saw TO running full speed catching passes on the second prectice fild once the team had retired for the day?
I don't give a rat's ass if Haynesworth apologized the next day. I haven't seen the center campaigning for a lessening of his suspension. He's such an incredible attention whore that even Rosenhaus has distanced himself once he got a new contract to pad his own wallet.

Off subject but did anybody see the news last night where they said TO is coming out with a line of childrens books called? ( Little T Learns to Share) talk about irony.

What i thought was funny was Haynesworth hiring a PR director to help better his image. LMAO! How do you not know between right and wrong? haha

Next book out: O.J. Simpson's book on how to have a successfull, happy marriage. Next, how to hide your assets from confiscation. Finally, how to find your wife's killer on a golf course for 10 dollars a day including meals and cocktails.

Haynesworth may not play this season. THe 5 game suspension was from the league but that does not preclude further punishment from the Titan organization.
Not saying it will happy, but its feasible.

Probably, i dont think he is that valuable to them anyway is he? Besides, i Fisher wasnt real happy about his actions either.

Fisher was furious. Its not like Haynesworth is a Stroud or anything. Dude is lazy as it is, and doesnt go full tilt on every play. I dont think missing him for the season will hurt that pitiful team anymore than it is.

The difference between Haynesworth and TO
1. Haynesworth was being punished for one single transgression. TO's problem was an ongoing cancer. While he minimizes it as "freedom of speech" it was an ongoing behavior that was disruptive to a whole organization. Haynesworth is being punished for a transgression whereas TO was sent away because he wasnt worth the headache.
2. Haynesworth was apologetic. TO wasnt. Given the oppurtunities to relive those events, I am pretty sure that Albert would not stomp on Cowboy's head. I doubt TO woulda changed his actions at all.
3. Haynesworth's punishment is set. He will serve 5 weeks and maybe more. TO was sent away because he was a distraction. I imagine if he would have changed his song & dance, the Eagles would have reinstated him. In other words, there is nothing at this current moment that Albert can do to change his circumstances. TO had the chance every day, every week, and never did anything to make it right.
Yes, TO, its all about you. Way to make to this story about you and to make yourself out to be the victim. And you wonder why this kinda crap always happens to you.

I'm going to buy those TO books for my son. And every time he reaches for one of them, I'm going to fly into a rage and beat him about the chest and head with the books, teaching him the valuable lesson that Terrell Owens is a clown to be despised. Don't ask what happens if he reaches for the Raider jersey hanging in his closet!
Ahhhh, parenting!

More bull**** spin from T.O.D. and his publicist. So now we're to believe that publicly badmouthing teammates, coaches and the organization that employs him is nothing more than him exercising his right to free speech? That's not even mentioning his fistfight in the locker room with Hugh Douglas and the insubordination that was him telling Andy Reid to "shut up" and Brad Childress, "Don't talk to me unless I talk to you." Let us not forget, all of this was happening while he was demanding more money.
It's almost frightening how out of touch with reality T.O.D. is.

I love me some me. The guy has an opinion about everything but no one outside of the media cares what this guy says.
I either saw it on nfl network or read it online somewhere but it seems like the Titans aren't going to play him for the rest of the year.

It's just astounding he would write a children's book about sharing. He's the biggest attention whore in the NFL several years running. Notice the "Hero" is Little T. I also haven't heard anything about him giving any proceeds to a children's charity.
Taco is right...anyone that would buy that book would have to be a complete and utter moron. Unless of course, it's to ht Babby Zee on the head with it. Might be better to give a whack on the ass however. The guy has mental illness.

I agree with everything you said, except I don't see how he was defending irresponsible behavior. It sounds more like some more b****ing from TO about how Haynesworth didn't get as much time off as he did.

Deplorable celebrities freqquently turn to writing children's literature. It suits their IQ and makes them feel like they're doing something nice.

This is just more of TO keeping his name front and center in the media....in other words, it's immediately dismissed. I simply refuse to give him the attention he craves like heroin anymore. If only the media would do the same, what a wonderful season it would be.

All he has been doing for several years is show kids how to be a selfish, spoiled brat. But, hey, as long as the proceeds are going to a Children's Charity...yessir...he's really setting a good example. He's probably got his eye on that mink coat at Macy's.

From what I'm reading Haynesworth might not ever play for the Titans again, so TO won't have anything to complain about.

I agree with TO.
If I were king, Haynesworth wouldn't get better treatment than TO got.
Neither of them would have any available path back to the NFL.
Sell insurance, guys. Manage a 7-11. Drive a cab. Play in Canada.
Just get the hell out of my NFL, both of you.
And take Chris Henry with you. I mean, it's just a matter of time...

What Owens did was worse. He was a cancer to his team. He ruined his teams season and any shot they had at making the playoffs. His suspension was not by the NFL it was by the Eagles. The Eagles were justified in what they did because TO is only into TO.
