"The Kansas City game was really, really fast," Marshall said. "But I noticed at New England that the game really slowed down. I felt comfortable. That was a good sign. I expect the Baltimore game to be very slow for me and even more comfortable. I'm ready to break out."

I hope so Brandon, but I'm not so sure the Ravens D will be a lot slower than KC's....

I think he´s referring to the game speed overall and that he needs some time to adjust to the faster game in the NFL.

I agree, but isn't game speed proportional to the overall speed and reaction time of the players?

Nope, it more a mental factor of the individual playing that game at giving time. All NFL players are physical fast and have similar reaction time, when hear from rookies talking about the speed of the game it not about the other players but rather how that they as individual are processing the "complex" tasks he required to do in short amount of time allocated to that task. He thinking were his feet need to be, were he supposed to line up, what spot to run to, etc.

He thinking instead of reacting, and as they get more experience they are able to shift those easy tasks to muscle memory actions and focus on other things. Some players never can over that hurdle and become the bust we all love.

I would love to see us give those guys a chance. I would love to see us throw the ball farther than fifteen yards once a game. We have some weapons, we should at least give them a shot.

There was a game a couple of weeks ago you would have liked, it was Denver @ NE... :poke:

On topic, I'd love to see Marshall and Schefler both break out. We'll need everyone to step up and make some plays on offense.

GO BRONCOS!!

That is what makes Kircus, David so impresive IMO the guy might not be a rookie but he is as close as you could be to being one.

I think Kircus is the WR we have been looking for since Eddie retired !!

I sure hope we win the SB this yeaar for Rod cause I think this is his last year or he is going to have to take a pay cut and be or 3rd WR next year...

Not sure that any of these guys are going to break out this year, with Jake at the helm. He'll stay within his comfort zone, which means Rod, and some Javon. You want Kircus zipping for 84 yards, you're going to have to wait for the Cutler era.
