Todd Heap has put up big games against us in the past. Can Lynch and Fergison take him out of the game with the help of our linebackers? What do you think? :kiddingme

or Sam Brandon, whom we often use to cover TEs. :)

Heap is still smarting from that hit (I believe it was) Al Wilson laid on him in the endzone the last time they played....I'd love to find a clip of that one. Heap was airborne, got nailed by Al and fumbled away the ball.

Considering how well we played against the elite TEs in the league last year, I don't see any reason why we can't expect the same. This game comes down, again--I think, to how well Plummer manages the offense. Our defense is good enough to hold Baltimore to less than 2 touchdowns, but can we score more than that?

Ravens have 2 solid WR's, and an all world TE. It should be a good matchup for our secondary tho, and McNair seems to be rushing throws alot this season. The onus will be on our offense to produce scoring drives, that eat up alot of time and kind of keep McNair and Co sidelined.

I look for us to put a lot of pressure on McNair being that their starting Left Guard is out. Hopefully he will be rushing a lot more throws that will result in turnovers.

That's what I was thinking, Brandon should be a perfect matchup for Heap. Hopefully he will be able to play with those charges against him.

Sam Brandon is going to hit Todd Heap like he does his wife. Hard, and often.

No, they will be out played by Heap. Broncos still win the game though.

Mediator says our LBs are the best in the NFL vs Tight Ends. I'll follow that by saying I trust our scheme to limit Heap to under 40 yards recieving, maybe 3 catches, no TDs.

Thats the Al Wilson hit on Heap... can't get enough of that one. I think that we will put a LB on heap, then switch off with a safety once he goes down field. Lets hope we do not leave a huge seem for him to catch the ball in.

Al.... one more big hit should about end any effectiveness Heap might have against us :)

What a hit that was, thanks for the new avvy!

Brandon/DJ/Ian will have no trouble with Heap.

We shut out Gates/Gonzo every time, im not worried.

That photo of Al rocks! Makes me proud to own a 56 jersey. I'd like to see Chuk do that to McNair also.

The Ravens missing their starting LG hurts their running game alot more than pass protection. The middle of the Donk Dline isn't exactly dominant. The Ravens have pretty darn good tackles and should do a pretty decent job protecting Mcnair. They've got a couple of decent WRs and Heap, unless they somehow find a running game with Lewis and Anderson.

I don't expect a big game from Heap(have him in a ffbl) and I think the success of the WRs will depend on how open he is, and if the Donks maintain the run with 7 in the box.

I don't think they'll be very successful running, but will keep doing it and moving the clock. I think they'll be able to take advantage of Williams and Foxworth enough to move the ball.

As a casual bystander, I'd expect this game to be 14-10 or 17-14...somewhere in that range.

Denver can win this game, but Jake can't make any mistakes against that pretty good Defense of Balt.

They don't call him the "Stormin" Mormon for nothing, but he's definatly not the entire offense, Denver wins in a close 23-20 battle
